Chapter 24

Megan's pov

I was laying in bed when I heard some really strange noises coming from downstairs. I looked over to see Joe and he was still fast asleep, so I got up and put my zebra slippers on. I creeped downstairs and tried not to wake anybody. As I got closer to the living room the noises got louder, it wasn't very loud so I don't think anybody upstairs could hear it. I was about to look when I remembered when we got burgled. I pushed the thought out of my mind and kept walking. I turned the corner into the living room and I could see it. I stared in disbelief as I watched Eleri and Luke making out on the sofa. "Oh my god..." I whispered. Eleri was on top of Luke, kissing and playing with his hair and Luke was kissing her as well. Eleri stopped and stood up quickly. "Oh uh...hi..." she said and she ran away into the bathroom. Luke stood up too and said nothing. He just looked at the floor. I realised that I looked like I had seen a ghost so I half smiled "sorry..." I said and I turned around and walked back upstairs. I walked back into my room and shook Joe. "Joe! Joe wake up!" I whispered and he looked up at me "what, what happened you look like someone just tried to murder you!" He said "I saw something, downstairs" I said "what!" Joe asked "well... Eleri and Luke were making out on the sofa" I said and I looked at the floor. "How?! Luke is dating Megan?!" He said in disbelief "I don't know, I didn't ask. I just walked back upstairs" I said "did they see you?" He asked "yep, they sure did" I said

Eleri's pov

Me and Luke were making out! It felt so wrong but I just couldn't bring myself to pull away! Megan p was gonna kill me if she found out! "Mmmmm... Your so gorgeous" Luke said between breaths "your.. Mmm... So amazing!" I said, struggling to get the words out. I could feel him reaching slowly down to my trousers when I heard someone. "Oh my god..." It was Megan! I grabbed Luke's hands to stop him from pulling my trousers down and stood up. "Oh uh...hi..." I said and my eyes filled with water. I ran straight to the bathroom and started crying. What had I done! I should have pulled away! I should have stopped! But I didn't... Didn't pull away, didn't stop! I hardly even tried... The only thing I did do was fuck things up.

Luke's pov

Eleri grabbed my hands and stopped. She stood up and ran off. I stood up too. I just stood there like a twat, looking at the floor. I didn't know what to say to Megan, I just kissed my girlfriends best friend and her other best friend had seen me! "Sorry..." She said and walked up stairs. I waited for her to go and then I walked to the bathroom. When I got there I knocked the door "no! Don't come in!" I heard Eleri cry. "Eleri, open the door... Please?" I said. She waited a few seconds and then peeked her head around the door. Her mascara was all over her face and her eyes were filled with water. "I'm sorry" she said "can I come in, we can talk" I asked and she nodded. I walked in and sat on the floor. "Look, it's not your fault! It's mine! I was the one that kissed you!" I said. She waited and then spoke very quietly. "But I didn't stop you. And that's worse" she said "look, let's just wait until tomorrow. You go upstairs and sleep" I said and she nodded and walked out the door and up the stairs. I got comfy on the sofa and slowly fell asleep.
