Chapter 27

Eleri's pov

We stayed in hospital for about 3 hours. first hour was spent being assessed by multiple doctors, the next hour I was under anaesthetic being stitched up, and the last hour we sat around waiting for me to come around from the sleep. after that a doctor came over and said we were free to leave. Joe drove us all home, me, Megan, Alys and James. brad and Lana went home in their car with the twins. When we got home Megan p was sitting on the sofa just staring at the turned-off tv. Luke was sitting in the kitchen. "Hey" he said and he waved "ummm..Luke, what's wrong with Megan?" I asked "dunno. She hasn't moved for an hour and a half!" He said "what!?" I said "well, you try moving her!" He said. Joe walked in front of her and she didn't move. "Haha! This is kinda cool!" Joe said and he stuck his face close to hers and made a stupid face which made me giggle. "Ok, Joe, you've had your fun!" Megan said laughing, she walked over to the tv and turned it on. As soon as the light hit Megan p she moved."AHH! What's so bright!?" She squealed. We all laughed. Megan p came over to me and apologised. We had our whole girly hug and then we all moved on. Lana and Brad walked in. "Right, I know something happened But apparently, our flat is constantly doing weird shit! I mean, rape, burglars, pregnancy, breakups , affairs. And now attempted murders. But to be honest, I am tired and hungry and I don't care. So goodnight!" Lana said and she walked over to the fridge. "We sorted the attempted murder out so don't worry bout that"I laughed "great, what's next?" Lana laughed and took a slice of cake and pizza up to bed with her. "Ignore her, she's in a bad mood" Brad giggled and he followed her upstairs.

Megan's pov (not friend, I really should give up on reminding you! If it says Megan p then it's the friend Megan not the main character. I think you get it, your pretty smart)

Joe has been talking about this new car is wants for months, so I saved enough money up to buy it for him! It was his birthday tomorrow so it's his birthday present. The next day I woke him up really early. "Joe! Joe! Joe, baby wake up!" I said and I shook him" ok ok! I'm up! By the way, I love it when you call me that" he smiled "GET UP!" I squealed and dragged him out of bed all the way downstairs. When we got to the lobby I covered his eyes with my hands and walked him out the front door. I removed my hands and standing in front of him was a shiny new black convertible sports car! "Surprise!" I said

Joe's pov

"Surprise" she said and my jaw dropped! It was my dream car! I picked her up and hugged her so tight! "I love you, baby!" I said and winked. "Did you know, I love it when you call me that!" She laughed and I dragged her into the car. It was freezing but we still put the roof down. We came to a green light and we drove. Suddenly, I saw a car come crashing into the side of my car, the the drivers side. I heard a scream... Then everything went black.

Megan's pov

Everything was blurry. There was glass everywhere. Joe was covered in blood. I was covered in blood. I saw a person in the car that hit us calling 999. They weren't hurt, there car was huge, a Land Rover. Much bigger than a tiny sports car.

I suddenly blacked out.
