Walking back home with a paper bag, filled with medicine bottles— she had heard the news of her father who was in critical condition and as much as she resented him— she still wanted to make sure he was okay.

Going back and forth to different pharmacists; asking for different medicines that were prescribed to her father.

She felt her wrists getting sore from the heavy paper bags— placing the bags down she sat down on the sidewalk with her legs in front of her chest.

Just admiring the cars driving by— the wind blowing a few strands of hair in front of her face; she smiles a bit, only embracing the soft air brushing up against her.

Closing her eyes and taking in what was in front of her she heard something next to her— she opened her eyes and looked over her shoulder and saw the same dirty blonde haired boy she's been seeing quite often.

Not knowing why'd she had seen him so much— she felt a mixture of emotions but the main one being disoriented— the boy turned his face to finally meet orbs with the raven haired girl.

"Hi" the girl quietly said taking in his presence— "Hi Aeri" he cooed in response to the smiley girl next to him.

He looked to Aeri's legs and the filled paper bags that surrounded her— confused as to why she had so many bags with medicine.

"What are those for?" he pointed at the bags with his index finger that had dried up blood on, his knuckles were all red and bruised— the girls eyes widened at the sight of his hands— grabbing them she examined every inch of his slim hands.

"What happened?" was all the girl could ask; worried that he might've gotten into a fight or he hurt himself— But why did she care so much? she didn't know him.

Realizing her feelings she let go of his hands and retracted them to go back and hug her legs.

"Uh it's nothing" he rubbed his nape and chuckled nervously— "If you say so" she nodded— not believing the boy, but then again it wasn't none of her business.

"Now answer me" his voice was laced with sternness, she looked back at the dirty blonde haired boy and back down at the bags he later pointed to.

"It's for me" she lied, he didn't have to know about her fathers condition; it was too personal— "Why so much?" his eyebrows knitted together.

She shrugged not really knowing what to tell him; "I guess I just really need it."

"I have to go" grabbing the multiple paper bags and standing up from her position; looking down at the boy who only looked back at her— with orbs that only reflected pity.

"See you around" she whispered before bowing to the boy and walking away from his figure.

As she made her way to the cross walk she waited for the light to turn red— signaling that it was safe to walk— looking back once again she saw Jisung wasn't in the same spot anymore but behind her walking to where she was.

"I'll walk you" his hands inside the pockets of his black jeans, checking his surroundings— the girl nodded— feeling this warmth inside her stomach as he said that.

The light turned red and the raven haired girl stepped her right foot first into the cross walk continuing her steps as Jisung trailed behind her.

As they both made it to the other side of the road— she felt a drop of water hit the tip of her nose; making her flinch and almost fall back— Jisung instincts reacted fast— placing his arm out to catch her.

Looking up at the gray cloud filled sky, more drops of water kept falling; wetting them— Jisung tugged on the hood of Aeri's hoodie and covered her head with it.

He placed one hand on her back and another on top of his head— running along the wet pavement— the girl stopped running and look at the boy who's hair was soaking wet.

Scared he might catch a cold— she placed the paper bags on the pavement; taking off her black oversized hoodie and handed him it.

She straightened out her t-shirt while her hand was still out waiting for him to take it; after awhile of looking at the hoodie in her hands he took it and put it on.

"I have to go now" the girl said grabbing the paper bags again and running inside the house.

Trying her hardest to open the door, she gave up and kicked the door lightly to have her mom open the door— the brunette saw the drenched girl and immediately rushed to get the paper bags that were wet and mushy.

Making her go in before she caught a cold— she closed the door behind her and turned to see the daughter shivering because of the low temperature inside the room.

"Go change I don't want you getting sick" the brunette placed the bags on the hardwood floor—the raven haired girl rushed upstairs to her room and locked her door— taking in deep breaths to steady her breathing.

Walking towards her closet she pulled out the same grey hoodie she had on the other day and grey sweatpants.

She removed the fabric that sticked onto her body because of the wetness quickly putting on the hoodie— rejoicing the warmth it gave her.

Removing her jeans after and putting on some sweatpants, she was finally warm and comfortable.

Throwing her body on the bed she cuddled into her sheets and sighed— recalling the interaction she had just a few minutes ago, she smiled to herself.
