"Yo Aeri-" the man twisted the door knob open, calling out for the girl— until his eyes laid on the lifeless body that slumped on the wooden polished floor.

"Aeri!!" he yelled, his senses realizing what was going on. His legs rushed to the body, crouching down next to her to check if she was still breathing.

She was. Thank god.

He quickly got ahold of his phone, dialing 911– his breath hitched as he waited impatiently for the call to be picked up.

"Hel-"

"Hi! I found my friend passed out on the floor, she's still breathing, I need an ambulance!!" his bunched up words were clear to the officer.

"We'll send them right away, what's your location sir?"

. . .

Flashbacks to when they were previously at the hospital, were flooding the teenagers' minds— they were all worried sick of what happened to their beloved friend.

Mark and Haechan patiently sat down, rapidly tapping their foots on the floor, nibbling down on the flesh of their bottom lips.

Jeno leaned against the wall, tugging onto his pitch black locks that he recently had dyed. Slowly letting out sighs every moment he took a breath of air, trying his best to calm himself down.

Renjun staggered back and forth, in front of Aeri's room, biting down his fingernails as he impatiently waited for the doctor to come out the room.

Jaemin and Chenle both went to the vending machines to buy snacks for the rest of the guys and for Aeri once they were able to see her.

"God," Jeno huffed out, releasing the locks that were tightly gripped on in between his fingers.

With every second that passed, their worry grew along with their subconscious. "Where the hell is Jisung?!" he cursed out, throwing his head back— banging it against the wall.

"He said he'd be on his way," the eldest confirmed.

The other scoffed, "Like hell, is he not worried??" along with impatience and annoyance growing inside of him, he couldn't help but bicker with the oldest.

Before the oldest could throw a snarky remark towards Jeno, they were stopped by a middle aged man. "You're all friends of Han Aeri right?"

His hands gripped onto the clipboard, patiently waiting for an answer. "Yes! We are! is she okay!?" Mark quickly responded, jolting up from his seat to stand in front of the man.

"She's okay, it seems like she passed out due to sleep deprivation, along with high blood pressure."

The group all breathed out the air that rattled inside their rib cages, "Can we see her?"

"Of course, but keep in mind Ms. Han has to rest, she'll be discharged tomorrow morning." the middle aged man flashed a small smile towards the teenagers.

"Thank you!!" the Chinese man bickered, quickly rushing into Aeri's room to check up on her— having the others follow in behind him.

As they walked in, they noticed the frown that was plastered onto her face. "Hi babe, how are you holding up?" the tanned male made his way up to the hospital bed where Aeri laid.

Her eyes fixated on the roof, "I'm okay."

"How's Aeri?!" a tall, dirty blonde haired boy exclaimed, from what it looked like— he must've run around the entire hospital looking for her room.

"She's okay, you got here on time." the eldest placed a hand on his shoulder, as he finally caught his breath he rushed to the spot right next to Haechan and Renjun.

"Aeri, I'm so sorry-"

"It's fine, don't worry about it" she nonchalantly said, still not looking at any of the males' faces— as if the roof was the most interesting thing.

Reading the room, the guys all signaled one another to leave the two alone so they'd talk.

"Aeri," he silently breathed, his hand intertwining with hers. "Jisung, I said I'm fine,"

Her tone was laced with bitterness, all she could feel was both depression and anger. "What's wrong darling?"

He seemed confused by how she was acting, but nonetheless he didn't wanna assume it was him that could've caused her mood change.

"Nothing, I'd rather not talk about it." she breathed out, her heavy eyelids fell down— closing them shut, pitch black was all she could see.

"That's fine," he nodded gently, his lips pursed together to form a small smile. "When will you be getting discharged, I can come pick you up!!"

"Tomorrow morning, no specific time." she shrugged.

"I'll ask the doctor, for now i'll leave you to rest okay?" his gaze stuck on her face, waiting for any possible sign of life from her. "Okay Jisung."

The corners of her lips slightly curved up, eyes still shut close— being too tired to even try to open them.

He smiled to himself, leaning in, he placed a kiss on the girls forehead. "Goodnight Aeri, sleep well." As her hand lost grip on the males comfort, he slipped away, making an exit out of the chilly room.

As he slid the door close, he left his smile drop down into a frown.

"Jisung.. are you okay?"
