As the female walked into the cafe, she could feel the pit of her stomach turn into a knot. For once the attention wasn't on her, but the voice in her head was only negatives.

She couldn't help but freeze in her spot once she spotted the pair— it felt like her heart was being eaten alive, and all that nervousness turned into fear.

"Aeri!! Over here!" one of the girls called out to the Han— her attention fixated on them, her eyesight going from blurry to clear. Her feet shuffled against the small carpet that read 'Welcome'— scraping away any dirt that was under the shoes.

She looked at her back, her orbs meeting with the glass door that displayed perfectly what was going on outside— seeing if her gut feeling was right, but to her surprise no one was there. Just her reflection.

The two girls waved their hands to get the Han's attention, their arms grew numb from all the waving, but eventually they stopped and let her approach them on her own.

Out of habit she anxiously fixed her clothing— dusting off her skirt, adjusting the straps on her top, fixing the pretty jewelry that decorated her neck, tucking strands of hair behind her ear. Yet the many habits couldn't help her or her anxiety.

Her toes curled up in her shoes as she thought about how this meet up could be awkward or weird in many ways— she couldn't think of the positives in this situation.

Once she finally got the courage and thought she was ready— her feet shuffled towards the small round table, the two individuals sitting across from one another. Eyeing down the woman as she walked towards them— her hands were visibly shaking and all they could was fiddle with the other to hide that.

"Aeri how have you been?!" the girl cheered as she saw the familiar female— she pulled out the empty seat next to her, patting the spot ever so gently to indicate the female to sit down.

Her hands straightened out her skirt from the back, bending her knees a bit so she'd land on the chair. The bag that slouched onto her shoulder slowly fell off, resting onto the side of the chairs back.

"Uhh I've been okay" her lips pursed together as her head turned to the side— her shaky orbs met with her hazel ones, seeming lighter from the sunlight that beamed through the glass window and onto her face.

"How about you guys?" her little tactic of turning things around— hating how much it bored her to talk about herself or anything related. "We're great! We missed you!!" the other joined the conversation, her hand that rested on her side— placed onto the girls shaky hand.

Flinching at her touch— her hand stayed on the cold surface of the table, the small smile plastered on her face didn't fade. "I missed you guys too" the smooth honey like voice they had always loved hearing filled their ears, melting at the girls words.

"Are you doing anything for the rest of the day?" the raven haired girl shook her head, a few strands of hair finding its way onto the front of her face— slightly poking her eye a bit.

"Let's go to the carnival that just opened up! It'll be so much fun and," she stopped midway of her sentence, biting on the bottom flesh of her mouth. "We would love to spend more time with you" the warm feeling she had gotten in her stomach came back.

She slowly nodded her head, "I would love that" after weeks she couldn't bring herself to smile or feel good, but reuniting with her past friends felt so relieving.

Maybe it's been months since she's genuinely smiled, or wanted to be apart of anything but maybe it could change.

"I got you your favorite" the short blonde haired girl slid a warm cup to the girl, the hot liquid moving inside the cup from the push. "Thank you Yeojin."

"Silly, no need to thank me, now finish it so we can have the rest of the day of fun!!" she wrapped her arms around the taller female, nuzzling the side of her cheek into her shoulder.

.  .  .

"Aeri, I hope you don't mind I brought my brothers along" the girl that clung onto her right arm said, all walking in unison through the entrance of the carnival.

"Your brothers? That's fine the more the merrier" her pearly whites displayed as she grinned, remembering how good friends she was with them.

"I'll call them so we can meet up with them" her hand got ahold of the device in the back pocket of her skinny jeans— scrolling through her contacts finding the right number. "I'll be back."

As she walked away from the two, the youngest nudged the girl next to her— getting her attention almost right away. Her eyebrow arched up in question as she waited to see what her blonde friend wanted.

"You knowwww" her finger dug into the strap of her top, lining it perfectly and slightly tugging onto it, "Hyunjin's brothers both have a crush on you" the corner of her lip curved up into a smirk as she teased the eldest with her words.

The female looked ahead— the blood rushed to her cheeks, causing them to turn into a peachy pink color. The beams of sunlight hitting her face helped to hide her flushed out cheeks— "What?" the question slipped— her eyebrows crashed together.

"It's true, they talk about you all the time, especially now because you've gone MIA after graduation" she felt a small pinch in her arm— the pain being unbearable that she whined and instinctively slapped Yeojin's hand.

The youngest rubbed the irritated spot— before she could say another word the brunette walked towards the two— breaking into the conversation. "What are you two talking about?"

"About your brothers" the youngest continued to tease, with that devilish smile of hers. "I hope it's good stuff" a male voice was heard from her back— causing her to flinch from how deep the voice was.

They all turned around— the raven haired girls eyes fixated on the two males, going back and forth between each one. "Aeri you're here!" one of them said in shock almost as if he didn't believe she was actually here.

"Doyun! Jae! Hey!" they all exchanged hugs and greetings— "Shall we go?" the brunette pointed at the rides that were scattered around the park.

"Aeri, you can go with them and I'll go with Yeojin" she grabbed the blonde girls wrist, giving her a look that she immediately knew what it meant. "Have fun guys!!" they yelled in sync, waving off the trio— running away to catch up in line for their favorite ride.

"So Aeri it's been forever!" the male threw his arm around the girls neck, pulling her close into a warm hug. The smell of cologne hit her nostrils— it was a different smell from what she had grown used to, remembering how Jisung's expensive cologne would send butterflies to the pit of her stomach.

"It really has been a good two years" she pulled away from the male— her hands raked through her pitch black locks, slightly smiling at the male to hide her uncomfortableness.

"Come on I wanna go on the roller coasters!!" the other exclaimed, grabbing the pairs wrist and dragging them to his favorite ride. They all fastened their steps to catch up with the male, the girl almost stumbling on her feet as they quickened their pace.
