The boys all gathered by the campfire— taking in the warmth from the lit fire— smiling and laughing to themselves, enjoying each other's company; for all they could think about was them and the moment; No one else mattered— except them.

The tanned male leaned a bit forward as he rubbed his hands together by the fire and blowing on his palms— the others copying his action; wrapping themselves in small cozy blankets as the cold breeze heading from the ocean brushed against their red faces.

To say the least they were drunk— chugging down bottle after bottles of soju.

None of them said a word, only laughter— oh how they looked so content at that moment.

"We should he-" a hiccup interrupted the older boys sentence— "head home" he managed to say— holding onto his chest because of the sudden pain in his chest and throat he got from the hiccup.

"Mark's right" the tanned male agreed; trying to stand up but his legs turned like jelly— The orange haired boy yanked his arm causing him to sit back down.

"We're all drunk we-" he cut in but before he could say anything he threw up— coughing up blood and food that they previously had.

The others— trying their best to sober up, rushed to Chenle making sure he was alright— The oldest lightly smacked his back so he'd cough up the rest of the vomit that might've been stuck in his throat.

His eyes closed as he kept throwing up all the alcohol in his system.

The boys feeling bad for their friend pulled him back up to examine his face.

"We have to go to the hospital" Mark said sternly getting up from the blanket placed on the soft warm sand.

Jaemin grabbing onto the orange haired boys left arm and Jeno grabbing onto his right arm— pulling him up so he'd be able to walk.

The boy was dazed, he was completely wasted and out of it— His vision kept getting blurrier by the second and before you know it he passed out in the arms of his fellow friends.

Panicking; they all got ahold of him and rushed to Mark's white truck— Jaemin was the first person to enter, sitting at the end— by the window.

They laid Chenle next to him with his head on Jaemins lap so he'd have someone watching him.

Mark shoved the key into the ignition and started the car; pushing his foot on the pedal— hurrying to the hospital before something bad happened.

.  .  .

"Is he gonna be okay?" the tanned male asked the doctor, hoping it'd be a good answer— "Yes Mr. Zhong is okay, he should be awake by now" the man in a white lab coat said flipping through the papers of his clipboard.

He sighed and bowed at the man before heading towards his friends who were apprehensive— Not being able to close their eyes because of the fear and anxiety that overflowed their bodies.

"He said he's okay" the tanned male spoke eyeing everyone who immediately jumped at the news— "Did he say when he'd be awake?" the two toned hair boy asked while biting down on his bottom lip.

He shook his head, "Not exactly he just said he should be awake by now"— Not hearing another word come out of the mans mouth they all rushed into their friends room seeing his body laid down on the hospital bed; an IV tube attached to the boys pale and skinny arm.

They sighed as they saw the monitor— reading his heartbeat that was regular.

The tanned male later entered the room while his figure leaned against the door frame— "We should head home, we can pick up Chenle in the morning when he gets discharged" he ran his hands through his soft chocolate brown hair.

They all nodded and took one last look at their hospitalized friend before exiting the room; sliding the door closed so he'd get some rest.

Walking out of the hospital all the boys could only feel one thing: guilt.

They didn't have anything to do with what happened to his friend but they should've stopped him from drinking so much when they knew how low his alcohol tolerance was.

Their feet dragged them into the empty parking lot, spotting Mark's white truck— Feeling like lifeless zombies they made their way inside the car all sitting together.

Mark started the car once again; he drove each and every member to their houses, making sure they'd get home safe.

Until Jisung spoke, "you can drop me off here" the dirty blonde haired boy pointed at a similar house.

Mark knowing it wasn't his— raising an eyebrow at the male and giving him a questioning look— "I know the person there don't worry" the strong smell of alcohol filled the entire car.

The oldest sighed and nodded; stopping in front of the house and watched Jisung make his way on the doorstep of the house— Knocking on the wooden door in hopes she'd open it.
