Meredith's POV:

            Today i had a budget meeting at Grey Sloan so i had to go in today. I was partly also going in to see Cormac and ask him about the flowers. I finally arrive at Grey Sloan and i walk into the meeting room. I was already met by some members of the board. 

Finally the meeting was over and i really needed a coffee due to how boring it was and me being half asleep. I texted Josh to come here and meet me for lunch and he agreed. I walk to the Attending's lounge and go to the pot of freshly made coffee. It was already 1:00 pm in the afternoon. I pour the coffee into the mug and make it exactly how i like it. " Meredith." i hear an all too familiar voice. I turn around and " Cormac." i say. " W-What are you doing here?" he asks confused. " Oh, um i had a budget meeting here due to me still being on the board." i say. We could both feel the tension in the room. " So how are you doing." i hear him ask breaking the silence in the room. " I'm good." i say. We just kinda look at each other not knowing what to do or say. " Look Cormac did you stop at my house yesterday?" i say getting straight to the point. " Oh, um No." he says not being able to look at me in the eye. " So you didn't leave flowers at my porch yesterday." i say. " No." he says quickly. " You do realize i can tell when your lying, tell me what's up." i say.

Cormac's POV:

           I wasn't sure if i should tell her or not. But she deserves to know the truth. " I went to your house to give you some flowers, cuz honestly Meredith i want you back and i really miss you." i admit. " Cormac, look i will always love you but i've moved on." she says. " I know Meredith, but that still doesn't change the fact that i love you and i want you." i say and walk closer to her. I kept walking to the point where she was leaning on the counter by the coffee trapped and i could feel her breath on mine. We were about to kiss until i hear " Meredith?" i turn around and see her boyfriend looking at us shocked. " Josh." she says guilty and trying to find an explanation for what we were doing. " It's not what it looks like." she said. " No i heard the entire conversation Meredith you don't need to lie, um i'm going to go and you guys figure out whatever you guys need to figure out." he said walking away. " Josh wait." she says running after him. Dammit! I did it again i ruined her happiness. I just want her to stay with me. She's all I need. But I know I don't deserve her not after everything that I did.

Meredith's POV:

             " Josh!" i yell. He comes walking to me in the middle of the hallway. " Look i owe you an explanation, just please hear me out." i plead. I like Josh i really do and i love Cormac but he hurt me and i need to move on. I drag him to a supply closet and lock the door behind me. " Meredith let me go, i don't want to hear it." he says. " That was my ex, we broke up over a year ago. We are over." i say. " Really, cause it looks like if i didn't interrupt, then you guys would've kissed." he says hurt. " I loved him and we didn't work out, he- he hit me." i admit. Josh's entire face changed he was upset and now he was angry. " What?!" he says with fire in his eyes about to walk out until i push him back gently with my hand. " He was drunk when it happened and he didn't mean it, he apologized and i forgave him but we've been over ever since." i say. " Love." he says. " What?" i ask confused. " You told me you loved him, but im not stupid Meredith, you love him." he says. "No." i say. " Then look me in the eye and tell me you don't love him." he says. " I-i-i can't." i admit. " Exactly you do, Meredith i like you and i want you to take some time and figure out what you want, or who you want." he says. " Josh, please." i beg. " Give me a call, Meredith when you figure it out." he says and leaves the room. I just stood there not knowing what to do. Who do i pick?
