"WHY DIDN'T YOU STAY IN YOUR ROOM?" Mom yelled slapping me across the face.

"Because I got hungry," I said looking them straight in the eye. Normally I would've avoided their gaze. But this time, I was tired. This had gone on for too long.

"SO WHAT??"she yelled.

"Honestly look at how your built, going without food for a few more hours wouldn't have killed you," dad says getting a drink from the fridge.

"Why do you guys treat me like this"? I finally say.

"Don't change the subject,"mom says pointing a finger at me.

"The subject is about me, right? So I haven't changed it. So tell me, do you love me?"

"Don't get sassy with me," mother says.

"After all these years you can't expect me to stay silent. I haven't gotten a hug, 'good job', 'I love you', or anything else since I was seven,"

"You don't deserve it, I mean look at you,"

"Well then, since you hate the sight of me so much I'll leave."

"You can't leave, you need us. And would be useless without us" mom says crossing her hands over her chest.

"At this point, I'd rather shit in my hands and clap, then come back to this hell hole," I spit before retreating to my room.

"They'll be back by dinner time," dad says throwing the canned drink into the recycle.

I pack my bags and slide out my window. I only brought my phone to google a new place to stay.

☹︎☹︎☹︎

It's been a month since I've left. I only went back to get ride of my old phone.
I have me a job that works pretty well. So all I need to do is get rid of some people. Just for fun.

Looking over the list I typed on my phone that I bought with my own money.

✔️𝖽𝗋𝗈𝗉𝗈𝗎𝗍 𝗈𝖿 𝗌𝖼𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗅
✖️𝗀𝖾𝗍 𝗋𝗂𝖽 𝗈𝖿 𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗌
✔️𝖿𝗂𝗇𝖽 𝗇𝖾𝗐 𝗉𝗅𝖺𝖼𝖾 𝗍𝗈 𝗅𝗂𝗏𝖾

I had planned everything out.

I wasn't going to kill my parents as much as I want to. If I'm going to be free, I want to leave with no connections.

I called them with my new phone. I didn't give them my new number. I pretended I was a related to my dads boss, and told them them I had been hanging out with some kid a few states away.

Surprisingly they bought it and packed up furiously, and left.

After some time I went downstairs and sat on the couch. It felt weird.

I was allowed to sit on it, but after constant fights with them, I just stayed in my room.

I put on my shoes and head to the mall.

Arriving there I head to the store I was never allowed to shop from. According to my parents, "who would wear that in public and have people be looking,"

But that was the point.

I WANT to be noticed. Is it bad to want what you once lost?

"Well well, look who's here," a voice said.

I turned around from the mirror and saw Ayaka and Kenma.

My eyes didn't open any larger, nor did my heart rate increase. I guess this mean I got over him.

Though I am confused. He likes dating bullies? He was more of the type to avoid conflict. Maybe this is why he didn't help me.

"Can I help you?" I respond turning back to admire my new outfit.

"Yeah. I came to buy that outfit. It's literally the last one, give it," she said.

"Well, I didn't like it that much. But now that I know you want it, that's a game changer,"I say. I start heading back to the changing room.

"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" She spat.

"It means," I say stepping out of the changing room.

"-I'm buying it," I finish passing the cashier my credit card.

"You little b-"

"I thought your parents said you couldn't have a credit card y/n" Kenma spoke up.

I turn to him with my new clothes in my hand and say, "so you knew about my parents and did nothing? One hell of a human being. I hope you drop dead,"

"That's not nice y/n, why would you say that?" He says narrowing his eyes.

"Your not nice to me, so why should I be nice to you,"

"You know what forget you, let's go Ayaka," Kenma says grabbing Ayaka's hand. "I never liked her anyways,"

"I could've told you that," I say leaving the store.

☹︎☹︎☹︎☹︎☹︎

As I'm replacing my old clothes with my new ones, I suddenly get a call from someone.

"Hello, this is y/n speaking,"

"Hello y/n. Can you please watch our son for us while we're gone?"

The old me is gone
Hope you all had fun
Now it's my turn
Oh how the tables have turned
