"Get the boxes of pizza!" Sigaw ko habang rinig na rinig ang reklamo ni Sigyn sa loob ng sasakyan.
Inayos ko mat na nakalapag sa ground bago nilagay ang mga fresh fruits and few bottle of drinks. We're having a picnic at Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, the view is spectacular and we can take a photo of Sydney Harbour, the Sydney opera house and the harbour bridge. This is my favorite place in this city, it's relaxing and I never get sick of it though I jog around here everyday.
"Have you seen my phone!?" Malakas niyang sinirado ang sasakyan bitbit ang limang box, nakakunot ang noo nito at mukhang naiirita.
"You probably leave it at home." Naupo ako at nakiramdam sa paligid. The area has thousands of plant specimens, the wildlife of garden includes colorful birds, fruit bats and waterdragons. It is so beautiful, everything is perfect. "Asan na ba sila?"
"Dunno." He utter boredly while taking photos with my dslr, "They stayed in a hotel last night after arriving, try calling them."
Kinuha ko ang phone ko para sana tumawag pero nakarinig ako ng ingay at halakhakan papalapit kaya di ko na tinuloy. They're producing annoying noises around, obviously, they arrived.
"SUP DUDE!!" Agad na bati ni Tydeus at binato kay Sigyn ang dala niyang paperbag, naglaglagan ang mga snacks sa mat.
"I bought some meat, let's grill some." Sinundan ko ng tingin si Vesper na dumiretso sa likod ng sasakyan upang kunin ang grilling equipments, walang gana akong sumubo ng marshmallow at hinayaan silang mag-ingay.
"Bellaa!" Nang-aasar na ngisi ni Hesione ang bumungad sa mismong harapan ko, "How's life in Sydney?" kumuha sya ng sausage at diretsong sumubo habang malaki ang ngisi.
"Your Dad told us to bring the both of you back home." Ani ni Calydon habang binubuksan ang bote ng wine, "Its been seven months, yea? Tita wants you back either."
Napanguso ako at napatitig sa bridge di kalayuan, I got used of independency here. The climate, ambiance and my daily living in Australia is far from the Philippines, but guess, it's time to go home. I'm only waiting for my parents to approach me all these time.
"Cool, it's 5 in the afternoon already. Let's straight to the club later." Vesper smirked and my cousins all agreed.
Kasama ko si Hesione at Calydon na nakaupo sa mat, nakahiga si Hesione sa lap ni Caly habang nagbabasa ng libro, they may look gay but honestly, they look like posing for a photoshoot. Nakaupo naman sa campchair si Tydeus kaharap ang harbour bridge habang sumusubo ng pagkain, while Sigyn is taking photos at nagi-grill si Vesper ng karne.
"Should I go with y'all?" I utter chuckling as I drink a bottle of water.
Napatigil ako sa pag-inom ng sabay-sabay nila akong tinignan at sabay ring sumagot, "NO." flatly, before they go back to their business.
"Whatever." Napasinghap ako, "I have a birthday party to attend later anyway."
"Oohuu" tinapunan ako ni Hesione ng unan, "You got friends!?" mukhang hindi pa sila makapaniwala kaya napasimangot ako, do I really look like some lonely bitch who got no friends to hangout? Well! they're right.
"No, kakilala lang." Napailing ako at binalik ang tingin sa magazine, "By the way, I've never heard about Achelous, Where is he?" Mula nung umalis ako sa pilipinas ay hindi ko na nakita ang lalaking 'yon, kahit magparamdam man lang sa social media, he's nowhere.
