Chapter 4

Where are we going James?, I whisper-ask my best friend following him through the school corridors, wearing the invisibility cloak together with James, Sirius, Peter, and Remus. It was midnight and they had woken me up, telling me to follow them.

Just wait, we will tell you in a minute y/n, he replies.

Ouch, someone stepped on my toe, Remus complains.

Well, it was James' great idea to use the cloak, even though we are 5 16-year-old teenagers trying to fit into a small cloak, Sirius tells Remus sarcastically, looking deep into his friends eyes. God, I always thought these two were gay.

Well, it usually works, but y/n is taking up too much space, James whisper-shouts back.

Gosh, thanks James, I retort sarcastically.

If you don't shut up, Minnie will find us, Sirius whisper-shouts back.

Everyone just shut up, Remus silences us, We are out of the castle now anyways.

Ok, y/n promise me not to freak out, James tells me in some sort of comforting way.

What's going on, what are you doing?, I ask, knowing perfectly what they were going to do, but still exited to see it myself.

Just watch and follow us when I say run, James replies, a boyish grin on his face. He puts an arm around my waste pulling me closer, nodding, for Peter to start.

Suddenly Peter transforms into a rat and runs under the whooping willows branches, pushing one of the willows' roots, which immediately makes the willow stop.

Follow me, James whispers into my ear, my face heating up, but I follow him sliding into a secret entrance underneath the tree, followed by the others.

Soon we are walking down a dark, frightening tunnel. I grab James' hand, squeezing it for assurance. James, recognizing my act squeezes back pulling me closer. Something was always pulling me to James, out of all the marauders, but it is probably just the similar appearance, little did I know, that the boys were watching us from behind, smiling at their friends actions.

Remus and Sirius agreed, that while Lily's and James' relationship was hopeless and toxic, that continuously resulted to hurt James, y/n loved the way James was right now. She didn't agree with all his actions, like bullying Snivellus but she didn't force him to be someone else, like Lily did. Lily wanted a good guy, with James' looks, but that just wasn't who he was.

Finally arriving in the Shrieking Shak, the friend group came to a hold.

Welcome to the Shrieking Shak, James exclaimed, This is where our secretes lie.

Now lets all sit down and we will tell you everything, Sirius tells y/n excitedly throwing a pillow at y/n, to sit on. They all sat down in a circle, as Remus handed everyone a bar of chocolate.

So, tell me the story and stop being all secretive, y/n complains, chewing the chocolate.

We are not all secretive, this is a very special ceremony!, James and Sirius exclaimed at the same time.

Yes, you are, Remus mutters under his breaths.

James ignored him, as he started to tell their story, how they met, how they found out, that Remus was a werewolf and about their brilliant idea to turn into Animagus, by carrying a single Mandrake leaf in their mouths for a whole month. They then must find a small crystal phial that receives the pure rays of the moon, put their saliva-filled leaf inside, and add one of their own hairs. They had to add a silver teaspoon of drew from a place, that neither sunlight nor human feet have ever touched for seven days and then put it in a silent, dark place and waiting for the next electric storm. It had to be left alone and not looked, nor thought about it. While waiting for the storm they had to put the tip of their wand, to their hearts, every sunrise and sundown is saying the incantations Amato Animo Animato. On the first lightning they had to go their, drink the now red potion and say, Amato Animo Animato Animagus and, that's how they turned.

After he finished the story, the room went silent y/n was staring at them with wide eyes. She knew, that becoming an Animagus was dangerous and complicated, but this sounded like so much could have gone wrong.

I want to be an Animagus, y/n muttered.

What?, James asked confused.

I want to be an Animagus, I repeat.

No, James tells her.

Yes

No, do you want to hear it Spanish? Noh, James tells her in a motherly voice.

It's not your decision, y/n argues.

It is too dangerous, I can't allow you to put yourself into danger like that, James lectures her.

But I can, you did it yourself, you have experience, so you can help me, it's completely save, besides if you four dig heads were able to accomplish becoming an Animagus I can do it too. I want to be there for Remus and there is no way you can change my mind, I tell him.

But what if you get hurt, James tries to convince me with a worried tone.

James, she will be fine, we will all help her and that would make her an official Marauder, that's what we all want isn't it?, Sirius helps me.

Ok, fine, James finally gives in.

The next month past awfully slowly, the boys repeatedly making fun of her, having a leaf in her mouth, when the electric storm finally came.

Amato Animo Animato Animagus, y/n said drinking the red potion.

A sudden wave of pain overcame her as she fell to the floor slowly transforming into a fox.

She's a fox, so I was right about the nickname!, Sirius exclaims happily as foxy runs through the room happily.

You are so adorable!, James exclaimed, soon realising what he said, turning into a bright shade of red.

Y/n transformed back a wide smile on her face jumping into James' arms hugging him.

Thank you, she whispers kissing his cheek.

A/N: I'm sorry for skipping over things, but this is when the Lovestory beginns. I planned the Story out yesterday and this book will only have 20 chapters.
