Chapter 17

You'll be spending the day with us, Sirius tells me grabbing me by the shoulder leading me outside to the lake together with Remus, Peter, and Marlene.

What about James?, I ask him.

James will spend his time with you a little later, Sirius explains.

You mean like a date?, I ask and Remus nods, He has never gone on a date with me.

Well James has never been on a date with anyone before, since Lily always had refused to go on a date with him and he would never have taken out anyone else if you hadn't magically, and I mean that literally, showed up, Sirius explains.

So what are we going to do?, I ask them.

We will have fun at the lake together, but only after I give you a lecture. What were you thinking telling the crackheads your secret and not me, you girlfriend, Marlene exclaims.

One night stand, I correct her.

Whatever, Marlene rolls her eyes.

Look, I am sorry, but they are my best friends and I wasn't even suppose to tell it to everyone, I apologize.

Marlene glares at me before suddenly smiling widely, Ok, now let's go and have fun, she shouts running into the water, making all of us wet as well.

Hey!, I shout splashing water back.

Water fight!, Sirius shouts, joining us in the water together with Remus, Peter and Lily.

We enjoyed ourselves in the water for hours. Swimming, splashing and fighting in the water. It was amazing. I hadn't had that much fun in years. Completely pushing the thought about leaving all of this away I had the day of my life.

You better get ready now, Sirius tells me.

I nod completely out of breath, walking up the stairs to the Gryffindor girls lavatory. I took a long cold shower washing my hair as well. After I finished my shower, I put on a dark red dress and with some black heels. After adding a few golden accessories, I put on a bit of mascara, some red eyeshadow and red lipstick. I curled by long y/h/c hair letting it fall loosely.

Checking myself one last time in the mirror I spin around.

You look breath taking y/n, James tells me his mouth wide open admiring me.

I blush, You look handsome yourself, I reply.

James smiles taking my hand leading me outside.

Close your eyes, James whispers covering my eyes with his large hands. He leads me for about five minutes, before I can feel him pushing away some branches.

You can open them now, James tells me.

I gasp. Infront of me James had prepared a picknick with many delicious dishes. Around a beautiful y/f/c blanked were fairy lights and James had enchanted the sky to look like it was sundown.

It is beautiful, I tell James.

Only the best for you love, he replies.

We enjoy the food together laughing, joking and forgetting everything else. Soon it became night and the stars started to come out.

James took out a black box. He opens it revealing a necklace with a gorgeous marble locket as well as a golden ring with a ruby stone on it.

I bought you this as a reminder of me. I- I love you. I know you must leave, but I know I will never forget you. The locket is filled with pictures of us together and the ring symbolises our bond. We might be unlikely to have a soulmate from a different time, but this doesn't change the fact that we are meant for each other. I want you to marry, have kids and grow old and live your happy live, but don't forget about me- , James explains. I cut him off with a passionate kiss.

I love you too, I tell him. I take out a box with an expensive golden pocket watch. On the side in engraved were the words, I solemnly swear, that I'm up to no good and Mischief managed.

This is a reminder of me. I tell him. Promise you will marry Lily?, I ask.

He hesitates but then tells me, I promise.

A/n: I am a little late for this week, but I was busy. I will finish the Story like I promised. Tommorow Chapter 18 will be out and the day after Chapter 19, plus Epiloge. This chapter is bitter sweet.
