"What do you mean you're not going?!" Heather chased Alyssa down the school corridors.

"I mean I'm not going."

"Oh come on. Hayden still hasn't asked you?" Heather pouted.

"That's not the point. I'm still not going." Ally insisted.

"Please. You know how much it will kill Eric when you show up looking gorgeous."

"In a red and white pantsuit?" Ally wondered.

"You're seriously sticking with the pantsuit?" Heather cringed. "I know you don't like dresses, but girl, it makes you look like a candy cane."

"That's the whole point." Ally chuckled.

"Hayden will be there," Heather smirked.

"Enough already." Ally moaned. "It was one kiss."

"Ally, we both know it was more than that," Heather said. "You have been avoiding him all day."

"We're just... from different worlds, okay?" Ally explained. "He's a prince for Thor's sake. I'm just... me."

"Okay, I really shouldn't tell you this but as your unofficial sister, it's my duty," Heather stated. "Hayden's in love with you."

Alyssa stopped in her tracks.

"What?!" She gasped.

"Justin said that Hayden wondered how you know that you love someone. He said it was like his heart was glowing when you were around." Heather gossiped.

"He did?"

Heather nodded. "And I think you feel the same way. You're just too stubborn to admit it."

"Look it doesn't change anything. I can't go. I have Andy." Ally reminded.

"So bring him. Me and Justin can watch him." Heather offered.

"That's not fair on you guys."

"I'm your sister, that's what I'm here for." Heather smiled.

Knock. Knock.

"Hayden? What are you doing here?" Ally wondered as she opened her door. Her hair was soaked and she was wearing her favorite blue hoodie and sweats.

"Heather said you weren't coming to the party. So I came to see if you wanted some company."

"Actually..."

Just then Andy rushed in wearing the most adorable little suit and a very messy bow tie.

"Ready!" He cheered. Ally let out a chuckle.

"You changed your mind?" Hayden smiled. Alyssa nodded. "So, Heather set us up?" She nodded again.

"Don't suppose you know how to tie a bow tie?" She asked Hayden.

"I've got it. You go and get ready." He chuckled.

"Thank you."

Alyssa emerged from her bedroom wearing a short pale dress, with long lace sleeves. Her long golden hair in beach waves, reaching her hips. Of course, she was wearing the same leather band she always wore around her head, holding a matching pair of shoes in her hands.

Hayden gazed at the uncharacteristic outfit. Andy was sitting on his hip.

"One word about the dress..." She warned.
