Anne Mae's POV

I knocked on the door twice. Michael called me over to his place. I've never been over to his place before. I only been to his studio. Its actually weird coming over despite the divorce he had with Diana. I don't know about this. But I did agree to help him with his anger problem.

The door opened revealing a happy Michael. His blue eyes glowed as he saw me.

"Anne Mae, you came!" He gently grabbed my hand & brought me inside.

Everything was brown & heavy. The tension in the room was intense. Like negative vibes were left behind. I took out my mother's cross necklace & put it on. I keep this necklace on me at all times. It saved me from bad vibes from many places. I just hope nothing bad happens to me while I'm here.

"Nice place you have here."

"Eh, its okay. It could be better if you lived here with me" he whispered in my ear from behind. I felt a strong chill go down my spine.

I awkwardly chuckled "How are you?"

"I'm doing better now that your here."

"Are you ready to become a better person?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Where can I sit?"

"We can go in the man cave. Its more private & has a lot of space."

He grabbed my hand again & lead me to the man cave. It was a huge room that was larger then my apartment with a leather couch, pool table, mini bar, & a gigantic screen TV. I sat down on the couch as Michael got himself a drink.

"So, how do we start?" Michael flopped down beside me.

"Let's talk about your past & how all of this anger came about."

"Alright."

"You said your childhood was rough, right?"

"Correct."

"What happened?"

"My family didn't like me for who I was. I always had higher standards & big goals. Besides me & my dad don't really get along. He wanted me to a lawyer or a doctor. But I told him that I wanted to be a artist & and I did."

"Okay, what did he say about it?"

"He disapprove of it, he always disapproves of the things I do. Its always been like that. My mother was the only person that was proud of me, though. She supported me throughout the entire thing."

"That's good, you have somebody that supports you."

"Yeah, I guess" He shrugged.

"Do you talk to your parents on the daily basis?"

"I talk to my mother ever now & then. She tells me what goes on in Indiana & what not. I don't talk to my dad, period."

Do any of your other family members try to contact you?"

"One of my sisters contacted me a couple of years ago. She claimed she was checking up on me. But I knew it was something else. She wouldn't tell me right off."

I shifted a little "Well, what was it?"

"She needed money so she can get out of some debt. But the real truth was, she wanted money for drugs."

"Oh, I'm sorry Michael."

"I didn't give it to her though" He took a sip from his glass "She needed help."

"Did she ever get help?"

"I don't know, I haven't spoken to her ever since."

I cleared my throat "What about your other siblings?"

"Me and my siblings don't necessary get along. We've always had problems with each other. At one point of time, we did have a civilized conversation with one another."

"What was it about?"

"Our aunt's funeral, she died from a stroke."

"I'm sorry."

"I couldn't stand that old bitch" He crossed his legs a little & leaned back in the couch.

I gasped "Michael! That's not nice at all."

"Oh, you would feel the same if you met her. She was beautiful but her attitude was disgusting."

I sighed "Okay, when exactly did the anger issues started?"

"I guess it started in college. I was real stressful about work & couldn't handle it very well. And on top of that, music of course. Instead of seeking therapy I just kept it moving."

"You just can't keep it moving, Michael. You have to talk to somebody about this anger. Building all this anger is not good for your system. Your gonna end up having high blood pressure from all this anger."

He sighed "I know the side effects, Anne Mae."

"Then, you'll need professional help & moral support. Drop everything & help yourself."

"I can't drop everything, Anne Mae. I have shit to do. I have songs to write & produce."

"That can wait, your mental health is more important."

He rubbed his forehead "Alright, i'll try."

Uh, that wasn't so bad.
