INT. GILMORE MANSION. DAY

Emily is sitting at Richard's Studio with lots of papers and some lawyers. Bertha brings Emily some water. She is checking on the papers and signing some of them. Then she handles these files to the lawyers. She grabs her phone and calls.

Emily:

Hello Lorelai.

INT. DRAGON FLY'S ANNEX. DAY

Lorelai is at the counter working on the computer. Some workers pass by and say hello to her. She sees her phone vibrating and answers.

Lorelai:

Hi Mum.

Emily:

How are you?

Lorelai:

Good, and you?

Emily:

Wonderful. Listen, I would love to get together with you. I got some big news to share with you.

Lorelai:

Big news? Can you give me a clue?

Emily:

Lorelai if I'll give you a clue I will ruin the surprise.

Lorelai:

Oh, so there's a surprise... come on just one clue mom.

Emily:

I'm afraid I can't do that.

Lorelai:

It must be a big deal then.

Emily:

It is. So, you think we can get together? I was thinking we may have a Friday night dinner.

Lorelai:

Friday night diner? Isn't that kind of hard with you in Nantucket?

Emily:

I'm staying at Harford all week long and Bertha is here with me.

Lorelai:

Mum, you do realize you spend more time at your old house than in the new one?

Emily:

I've got a pretty strong and good reason and you'll understand it when we meet.

Lorelai:

Mystery, I like that. Ok, I'll be there.

Emily:

Tell Rory to come too with my precious granddaughter. It's been a such long time since I saw Amy. And bring Luke.

Lorelai:

Bring Luke? You found another trust fund?

Emily:

Don't be silly Lorelai. I just want my whole family together.

Lorelai:

(Looks really confused) Your whole family?

Emily:

Yes Lorelai! Rory, my grand granddaughter, you and Luke!

Lorelai:

Ok Mum, I'm starting to get a little scared here.

Emily:
