I laid in my bed, unable fall asleep. I turned over and looked at my alarm clock. 4:00 A.M. I should be asleep. I just couldn't stop thinking about it. I started to feel myself shaking.
Flashback
Scratches were all over my arms and legs. One of my wolf ears was bloodied and a little ripped. I was gripping my machete, but still shaking. I crouched down and launched to my enemy. Whisp grinned and flicked his wrist. I was launched to the side and felt the air rush out of my lungs. I fell to my knees, gasping for air. Bebe noticed and screamed for Mama. A white portal opened up behind me. The woman rushed over to me and scooped me up. I was still struggling to breath. Bebe kicked Whisp in the back of the legs. He yelled at her and tried to grab at her. Bebe was too quick and ran over to me. I felt scratches crawl up my collarbone to my neck. Corruption. I screamed in absolute pain, clawing at my neck. The pain was too much and I started crying, tears streaming down my face.
End of Flashback
I crawled out of my bed, my eyes barely staying open. I turned on my lantern and checked around my room to see if all my blinds were closed. I walked over to the mirror on my closet door. I took off my pajama shirt and checked my back, collarbone, and neck. Thin scars laced them. I traced my finger along one of the scars. They all started stinging again.
My ears and tail pulled down and I started whimpering with tears brimming to my eyes.
The quiet sniffling turned into broken sobbing.
