I heard a soft knock on my door. "Gun? Are you alright?" A voice asked. I got up and opened my door. Bebe was standing at my door. Before a could even squeak out a sentence, she embraced me in a hug. I burst out sobbing. Like I said, I was overly emotional when I was this tired. She led me back to the kitchen by the hand. Mia was standing next to the table, her arms crossed and her head turned away. Bebe turned to her. Mia sighed and turned her head to me.
"I-I'm sorry..." She muttered. This shocked me. Her voice didn't seem sincere, but I saw it from her body language. The way she shifted around, the way she kept turning her head from me, and the way she would lift her hand to twirl her hair. She seemed like she was trying to act like she didn't care. I let a small smiled crack onto my lips. "Thank you. I accept your apology."
Mia seemed to smiled a little as well. "D-do you wanna- um- make donuts o-or something?" She asked, nervously.
"Sure!" I replied, my spirit lifting.
Mia smiled softly and motioned for me to follow her to the stove.
We ate donuts that morning and I felt a little better, almost forgetting my suspicions and fear of what happened the fight that shook me.
I just decided to call it That Day.
