We all got to the rooftop and were soon face to face with our enemies. Code smiled her grim smile. Mia stood back, seemingly staring at Code straight in her black voids of eyes. I gripped my machete, ready to fight. Whisp raised his arm, ready to use his powers, but Code grabbed his arm and pulled it down. "No, I'd like to see them try." She mocked. I laughed. "You'll be the one trying when we-" Bebe cut me off. "Stop trying to roast each other and let's just get to the fight." She sighed.
We fought for quite a while, and I lost track of time. Not like I usually think about time when I'm trying to fight for my life. This battle was much more different than other fights. It was almost like she wasn't trying. She didn't even summon Scouts, just one; her Scout Captain, Alli.
I quickly rushed at Code, jumped up, and slashed at her forehead. To my surprise, my strength knocked the gem in her forehead out. Finally! We were going to be rid of her! Code knocked me off to the side of the rooftop and I fell. Bebe quickly caught me and pulled me back up. "Th-thanks Bee." I gasped. Bebe smiled in return. I looked over to where the gem fell, knowing Code's power was draining. Mia was standing right behind it and picked it up. "Mia! Toss it over!" Mama called. Mia just stood there and stared at it. "M-Mia! Hand it to her!" I said. She still seemed entranced by it. Code slowly walked in front of her and smiled grimly. I stared in disbelief. "M-Mia...?" Code reached her hand out to take the gem. "Well, First Lieutenant?" She asked. F-first Lieutenant? Mia smiled, and handed the gem to her. Code took it and slide it back to her forehead. Traitor.
