Defeated I let myself drop onto the floor while tears start going down my cheeks like a waterfall.
What was I thinking?!
"I can't believe that I fell for that same old shit again!"
My phone starts buzzing uncontrollably.
12 missed calls from Bette Porter.
"NOT TODAY SATAN!" I scream while throwing my phone against the wall.
It's in pure anger or sadness that we sometimes make decisions that weren't the smartest thing to do, like throwing my phone against the wall.
Or for what I was about to do next...
I go towards my fridge and take out 12 eggs. I then grab a red graffiti spray can and get into my car.
I turn on some heavy metal that isn't really calming me, but rather fuels my anger.
When I finally arrive at my destination, I get out of my car with the spray can and release the anger from within me by spraying big letters on her front door saying "BETTE CHEATPORTER".
But I wasn't finished.
I walk back towards my car, grab the eggs and start throwing them against Bette's house, one by one.
Bette storms out of the house and looks at me with both shock and anger in her eyes.
"Tina! What the fuck are you doing?!"
Without a word I throw one right at her. Unfortunately she's able to dodge it, which angers me even more.
"With a big FUCK YOU." I yell at her while walking back to my car with big angry steps that could tremble the entire street.
I get into my car and drive back home while cursing and crying at the same time.
Sure... It was a little immature and I knew that I might regret this later, but I just couldn't hold myself back. Sometimes love makes you do the strangest things and if I was being completely honest... Part of me enjoyed it too. The look on her face was priceless.
I come back home where I find Carrie kneeled besides my phone that took it's last breath of electronic life. My phone was officially deceased and so was the love between me and Bette.
Carrie looked so much better than before she left for South Africa, her arms were beautiful and muscular again and that smile... God... It was one that the devil would be envious of, for it could charm the purest soul.
"What happened to your phone?"
I was expecting a I miss you or a baby I'm home, but then again... I did smash my phone against the wall.
"It kept turning off, so I threw it against the wall." I answer while looking down at the floor in pure innocence.
I was surprised how well and convincing that lie left my lips, I must have had a great teacher of deceiving in Bette.
"Phones can be a real bitch."
I just nod and look up again to look into her mesmerizing eyes that had me weak in the knees.
Carrie then spreads her arms with a seducing wink.
"Daddy is home, baby."
