I make my way towards Dana's and see Carrie leave while I park my car.
"Carrie! Wait!"
I run towards her and quickly inspect her for any injuries. Surprisingly Bette hadn't laid a finger on her as far as I could tell.
"What were you thinking?!"
Carrie just shrugs her shoulders as she looks down with her hands in her pockets.
"Did she hit you back?"
A smirk appears on her face.
"As if she could." She flexes her muscles triumphantically.
I couldn't help but laugh. After all... Bette just got her karma.
It doesn't take long before Bette storms outside as well.
"Tina, your fucking girlfriend just punched my tooth out!"
I look at Bette who now seemed to look a lot like Gollum and burst out laughing. This results into Bettes face getting more and more red to the point where I expect smoke to come from her ears. I grab Carries hand and give her a kiss.
"Lets go home, gorgeous."
Carrie looks at me with pride and devotion while we leave Bette stunned by what she just witnessed.
I chose Carrie and will forever choose her.
We walk towards my car and drive off, leaving Bette behind. Behind in the past, where she belongs. The future belonged to Carrie and me.
Back home, Carrie gives me a big long hug.
"Lets get married."
I pull back from her warm embrace and look her deep into her eyes.
"What? Get married? Do you mean now?" I jokingly reply.
I expect Carrie to start laughing and tell me that she was just joking around.
"Yeah... Why not... Let's get married, right now..."
My eyes widen as she utters the words that would change everything.
If I agree to this then there's no way back. No more fooling around.
No more Bette.
But before I start to overanalyse everything I open my mouth without thinking.
"Lets go."
We pack a small bag and leave our phones at home so nobody can interrupt us on... Our weddingday.
This is what I want.
I think...
Is this really what I want?
I quickly burry any doubts deep in my mind and put a white dress in my bag that could easily be mistaken for a cute summer weddingdress.
Carrie packs a beautiful blue blouse, white pants and a white tie.
I can already imagine how sexy she's going to look all suited up like that. The thought alone makes me want to rip it off her the minute she pulls it on.
Time seems to be flying by and before we know it we are standing in some cute little chapel where nobody knows us and where most importantly, nobody can stop us.
I look at the beautiful woman standing before me and a cloak of calmth surrounds me. I couldn't be more sure about Carrie, about us... I want to be with her for the rest of my life.
"I, Tina, take you Carrie, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
