I'M SORRY FOR THE WAIT.
i've been having the worst, and I mean the WORST, writer's block ever (and wow! guess what? i still have it.)
anyways, i'll try my best to get the next chapter out as soon as I can... I've been writing and rewriting and editing and unediting it for, like, ten years. it's just not coming out like how i want it to and sometimes i just get stuck and stop writing for days. and on top of that, i'm sick as fuck. so that's fun.

well, enjoy the chapter! (and my little rant)

Diary...

This one is going to be very short because I'm not in the mood to do anything anymore. Today sucked total ass. Only, like, one good thing happened today. Words can't explain how much I wanna die right now. Or at least reverse time. Hint, I'm in a hospital, right now. Hooray. Anyways, whatever. Life happens and I've just gotta deal with the hate it has towards me. Like, come on, man. Why can't I be happy forever? That sounds nice.

I woke up and got ready for the awful day I didn't know I was going to have. Elias called me first in the morning. It was a happy call. We talked about random shit and he asked if I wanted to han...

"...g out today? We could go somewhere or do something. I don't know," Elias offered. A smile spread across my face.

"Yeah, sounds good, but I thought you had work today," I replied. Yes. This was definitely him asking me out. Today was going to be great.

"I do, but we can hang out after I'm finished. Could you meet me in the parking lot at the grocery store?"

"Yeah, just text me a time."

"Okay. Have a good day. Bye, Scott," he said. I could hear the smile in his words.

"Yeah. Bye, Elias."

I pressed the hang up button and finished pulling my socks on before tramping down the stairs.

"Mornin' mother goose," I sang. My mom turned around to greet me with a smile.

"Morning, Scoot. I made bacon and eggs."

"Thank you!" I said happily, sitting at the table and digging in. I finished eating and hopped to my car, getting in and driving to school. I parked, seeing Christian. My eyes lit up at the sight of my best friend. Jumping out of my car and locking it, I ran to him and jumped on his back. He stumbled.

"Scotty?"

"Christian! I haven't seen you for so long!" I complained, rocking him back and forth. He laughed.

"It's been two days, Scotty. How are you? Are you okay? Do you have a fever? You seem happier than usual," he pointed out. I let go of the taller boy and crossed my arms.

"Am I not allowed to be super happy?" I asked him, smiling wide. He narrowed his eyes at me.

"No, you're not. You're always way too happy, so when you're way too happy it means you're too happy. That is not allowed because it makes you look like the sun. What happened?" he asked. I raised an eyebrow.
