Friday | 18th, September

Yo, diary...

It's Friday! I guess you could tell by the date, but I just wanted to say it again. Friday's are wonderful days. I get to go to the bakery, the weekend is tomorrow, we get less homework, and the word 'Friday' is just great overall. I mean, who could not love Fridays? In all honesty, if you don't love Fridays, you're either a psychopath or just plain stupid. Enough of my rant about Fridays and how awesome they are. Because this is a diary, I'm going to tell you all about my day and just some random thoughts I had about random shit. Okay, Friday September, 18th, here we come.

When I woke up, it was due to my alarm for once. I guess my mom had gone to work and my dad usually didn't scream at me to wake up like she did. Kinda a nice break, if you ask me. My mom owned a famous restaurant a few minutes away from our house and my dad ran a large business company. I never really bothered to ask what he did in his company. I guess I wasn't interested. I'm still not interested, by the way. I trotted down the staircase and into the living space, smelling bacon and eggs being cooked. I wandered into the kitchen area to find my dad busy cooking breakfast. He greeted me good morning and served some eggs and bacon to me. I texted Tia asking if he ne...

I slipped my phone back into my pocket and put my plate in the sink.

"Thanks for breakfast dad. Want anything from the bakery?" I asked him and watched him think for a second.

"Yeah, could you grab me some of your special chocolate chunk cookies?" he requested and I winked at him.

"Definitely. I love those."

"Okay, thanks, Sukotto," my dad thanked and I grabbed my keys before getting in my car and driving towards Christian's house. I sent him a text saying I had arrived and he came out of his house and got in the passenger seat.

"Hey, man, do you want anything from the bakery? I have work today."

"I'm okay," Christian said politely. I narrowed my eyes at him.

"You don't want anything? I'm baking a new batch of basically everything, and you don't want anything? Crazy," I muttered to guilt him into asking for something. It worked.

"Sorry, no I did want something but I didn't know if you still had anymore. Are you making more of those strawberry vanilla cake pops?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yep! How many do you want?" I asked.

"Um, one, please," he answered.

"One dozen, coming right up!" I decided for him, pulling into the school's parking lot.

"You don't have to do that, Scotty!" he complained but I held up a hand to stop him.
