A/N: the italicized and bold writing is in a different language (in this case, Japanese)
[if you're wondering why this is part one, it's because the original chapter was over 40 pages long... so I split it into 2 chapters]

Bonjour Diary...
Alright. Today was very eventful. My fever is completely gone and I feel better. I've been super worried about Christian and Elias. One of those worries subsided today. A little. Other than that, my day sucked ass.
So like any other Thursday morning, I woke up and got ready for school. Elias was already gone. He left a note saying he had to leave for school. Whatever. He could have woken me up though. I don't really care. I don't really remember what happened last night or yesterday in general. I'll probably ask him later. Anyways, no, I didn't skip breakfast this time. Yes, I just lied to your face. Don't worry, future me, you definitely were not unstable I promise. I ate a big lunch later on, so it's fine. Anyways, I drove to school and parked my car into the school's parking lot like a normal teenager. Then I went inside the building and screa...
...med. Christian was back. Christian was back and my worries were gone.
"Christian! Oh my god, I've been so lonely without you! Lovely best friend!" I gushed, throwing myself onto the taller boy. He hugged back. "I've been so worried!"
"Scotty!" he exclaimed in surprised. "I've only been gone for a week..."
"I know! It's been so fucking loooong!" I whined into his shoulder.
"Scotty. I can't breathe."
I unattached myself from him and grinned at him. Oh. There are my worries again! He looked ghostly pale. Was he eating? Was he sleeping? I sound like Elias now.
"Are you okay, best friend?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "Are you doing okay? Talk to me. I've missed you."
"Fine," he sighed. "Remember all that stuff I told you when I came over?"
"Yeah... are you okay?" I asked again. He nodded.
"Well, I'm better now. Theo has been helping me through it. He's a really nice guy. Although he still calls me Carson..." he explained. I laughed.
"Yeah, what's up with that?"
"Don't know."
"Well, let's get to class. Don't wanna be late, I suppose. Hey wanna come over today?" I asked, putting a hand on his back and pushing him to class. He shrugged.
"I was going to Theo's today."
"Aw man! He's stealing you from me, isn't he?" I pouted. He laughed.
"No, he's not! I'll hang out with you sometime later, alright?" he promised. I smiled, nodding. I missed Christian. I missed being called Scotty. It was probably the only nickname I allowed. I was glad he was doing better and I was glad he was back.
When lunch time rolled around, Christian, Blake, the twins, and their boyfriends sat at a table. Blake was in a different friend group than me and Christian and the twins, but I still wanted to sit with him. He didn't mind. Probably.
"Hey, I'm Blake, Scott's work buddy," he said, smiling at the others. They smiled back and introduced themselves one by one. He looked surprised when he learned Beckett and Bennett were twins and we all laughed at him.
