          Hiya Diary...

Unlike yesterday, today was peaceful and nice and calming. Actually, I'm in my bathroom writing this right now because of an inconvenience that came up suddenly. Good news, mom woke me up normally for the first time in ever. She made some huge breakfast apparently. I thought we won the lottery or some shit so I was super excited. Turns out, that didn't happen. She was celebrating the loss of my singleness. I'm pretty sure we stared at each other for 30 minu...

...tes until I finally broke the silence.

"Huh? Who's not single?"

"You, silly! Are you guys gonna go out after school?" my mom asked with a big smile. I raised an eyebrow.

"Who am I dating?" I asked in confusion. Did she think I was dating Elias again?

"Elias, of course!" she exclaimed like it was obvious. Well, I guess it kind of was in a sense. He's really the only one she's thought I was dating. And she's thought it before.

"No, mom, we're not dating. How'd you come to that conclusion this time?"

"Elias told me you guys were going out together after school!" she revealed and I choked on my waffles. I hurriedly drank down some orange juice to prevent myself from dying.

"He what? When did he tell you that?" I asked. She pulled her phone out and opened her text messages with Elias that I didn't know she had. That's creepy, mom.

Hello, Keary. I was wondering if it was okay to take Scott out tomorrow after school.

You
Yes! Of course it is! I knew you two were dating! Don't worry, I approve.

Elias
Oh... we're not actually dating, I just wanted to take him out as a friend.

You
Oh. Well, that's fine too, honey!

Elias
Actually I did wanted to take him out like we were dating.

You
Really? That's wonderful! You have my consent for everything! When's the wedding gonna be?

Elias
The wedding? I don't think there's gonna be a wedding anytime soon. Or ever, tbh.

I gaped at the texts in horror.

"You asked when our wedding was gonna be?" I asked calmly, slowly raising my head to look at the monster. She beamed, nodding. I sighed. "Mom, we're not dating. He lied. We're probably not even gonna go out together after school. If anything, we'd go to his house."
