Y/N POV
Me and Fred have been planning the wedding, but I've become a little distant. I was using all my free time reading trying to figure out why I could read the book and not Percy.

I did this when Fred wasn't around because a part of me has a feeling that what I might find isn't going to be the best.

"Y/n what are you doing?" Angelina crept behind me. I quickly shut the book closed.
"Nothing. I was just reading."
"How about you take a break from reading and we do get out for a little bit?"
"Like where?"
"I don't know. Maybe just take a stroll?" She suggested.
"That sounds relaxing. Let me just put my book away."

I rushed to our room and hid the book in a drawer on my nightstand. Me and Fred had this unsaid rule that we don't look through each other's nightstands, so I didn't worry.

"Okay let's go." We walked out of the flat and downstairs.
"Where are you two going?" George asked as he saw us come down the steps.
"We're gonna go for a walk. We'll be back soon." Angelina answered and I nodded in agreement.
"Have fun," Fred replied and we walked out.

We felt the cool night breeze as we walked out.
"What were you reading earlier? Don't say it was for the wedding because by the looks of it that was far from wedding planning." I tried to think of a lie.

"It's just some research my parents wanted my help with." I lied.
"Okay?" She looked unsure to believe me or not.

"Can you believe in a few months you're going to get married? How do you feel?" She changed the subject to my relief.

"Stressed, but I know it's all going to be worth it."
"Yes. I can't wait to go dress shopping for you. It's going to be so much fun." I laughed and Angelina's excitement.

We walked around a small park.
"I think after me and Fred you'll be next." I teased and could tell Angelina's cheeks flushed red.
"Oh stop it." She shoved me and I began to laugh.
"I'm just saying." I shrugged.

Fred POV
Once the girls left for their stroll me and George went up to the flat.

As we sat on the couch y/n had gotten me worried. I could tell something was on her mind, but she wasn't saying anything.

"Do you know what's wrong with y/n?" I turned to face George sitting in the armchair.
"Kind of. She seems fine some days and a little off on others. She's probably just stress."
"But that's the thing. It isn't just stress. There's something else."

"Are you sure Fred?"
"Yes. I know y/n and I have this gut feeling that something isn't right."
"Just give her some space. If it was something important then she would've told you already." George tried to reassure me.
"I guess," I mumbled.

I went into my room just looking at the photo album. There weren't that many, but I smiled seeing every single one.

I put the photo album on my lap and just looked around the room. My eyes landed on her nightstand. There was an urge for me to see what was in her drawer.

I started to lean over to her side.
"I can't that's her stuff." I pulled away eyeing the drawer. Maybe there was something to tell me why she seemed off sometimes.

I was snapped out of my thoughts I saw the doorknob twist and looked back at the photo album.
"Hey, Freddie. Sorry me and Angie went to go grab a quick bite." Y/b walked in.
"Don't worry. How was it?" She crawled into the bed and pulled the sheets over her. She was already in comfortable clothing.

"It was relaxing. It's just what I needed to destress."
"Is that all it is?" I asked closing the photo album.
"What do you mean?" Y/n turned to me confused.
"You just seem off sometimes. Is it only because of stress? Or is there something else?"
"It's just stress. This is all so much, but it's worth it." She softly smiled and grabbed my hand.

"Okay, but if there's anything wrong please tell me."
"I will. I promise." I pulled her hand close to me and gave it a light kiss.

"We should get some sleep then," I suggest.
"Couldn't agree more." We both had each other in our arms and fell asleep.

Y/n POV
I woke up feeling guilty. I lied to Fred and I couldn't take it anymore. I have to talk to McGonagall to find some answers.

Luckily Fred was facing away still sleeping. I quietly got up and left the room. Everyone else seemed asleep as well.

Parchment and a quill were laying on the table. I quickly started to write my letter.

Dear McGonagall,
I'm sorry if I'm disturbing you, but it's urgent. Can I please talk to you? I need some answers about a certain situation that happened to me during the battle. Is it possible if we can talk at Hogwarts? Please reply as soon as you can.
Sincerely,
Y/n y/l/n

Izzy was usually downstairs, so I rushed down to the shop, and there she was standing on her post in the back.

"Hey, Izzy. I need you to deliver something." She hooted as if she was agreeing. I handed her a treat before tying the letter.

I opened the window where the owls would come in and out of when the twins had to send their products.

I was anxiously sitting on the couch with some tea. I then heard a door open and saw that it was Fred.

"Good morning." I greeted him.
"Good morning," he sat beside me.
"What are you doing?"
"Couldn't sleep," I replied.
"Sorry to hear that. Is there still more tea?" He asked.
"Yes, I left some." He got up and walked over to the kitchen.

I then saw Izzy approach and I got up to open the window. She swooped in and there was a letter tied to her. She stood on the coffee table and I quickly untied the letter.

Dear y/n,
Of course, we can talk. Once you receive this letter you can come to Hogwarts. Meet me at the entrance. Also no need to call me McGonagall anymore. You can call me Minerva now.
Sincerely,
Minerva

"Fred I have to go. Mc-Minerva needs me for a little bit. She didn't say much." I got up.
"Okay be safe." I rushed up to him to give a quick kiss on his cheek before rushing back to his room to change.

I finally arrived at the entrance of Hogwarts seeing Minerva waiting for me at the top of the steps.

"Good morning y/n." She greeted me with a smile.
"Good morning Minerva." I returned the smile. She started to walk and I began to follow.

"I would like to start with congratulations on your engagement."
"Thank you," I replied.
Now, what was it you need to ask me?" I started to get nervous.
"Well, something interesting happened when me and Percy almost died." She seemed intrigued.
"I have tried every book, but nothing explains what happened." I continued.

"Please go on," she encouraged me.
"To get back there was a book telling us what to do. The thing though is that Percy couldn't read it. I guess to him the pages were blank, but I saw all the writing." She abruptly stopped walking.

"Let's take a seat." She sat down to the closest bench and I sat beside her.
"I was hoping you could tell me why that happened."
"I do know the answer." My eyes widened.
"Can you please tell me?" I begged.
"It's simple," she turned to me.

"Percy was too desperate to go back to his family which is the reason why he couldn't see the book." She paused for a moment.
"You on the other hand had accepted the idea of death. Some part of you understands that you might die and had come to terms with it." I was speechless.

"That doesn't make sense."
"The book only reveals its writing to the people who understand that they might die. It gives the people the option if they want to live or pass and find peace." I couldn't find any words.

"Have you told Fred what happened?" She asked.
"No, because I didn't want him to worry. I was going to tell him, but now I don't know-how. I don't want him to take it the wrong way." I covered my face in my hands. My head was spinning with this information.

"You can do whatever you want with this information, but my advice is to be very careful if you do decide when to tell him." She placed a comforting hand on my back.

"Thank you, Minerva." I sat up waking out of the castle.
"Anytime y/n." I walked towards Hogsmeade just so I could wrap my mind around everything that just happened. How the hell am I supposed to tell Fred?
