Starting to Feel More Real

Fred POV
We were all eating breakfast before starting the day.
"Angelina I have a question for you," Y/n spoke up.
"Oh, what is it?"
"Would you like to be one of my bridesmaids?"
"Yes of course." Angelina jumped up in excitement and hugged y/n tightly.
"Great now I just need to ask a few more people." Y/n got up and quickly washed her dishes.

She was already ready for the day.
"Bye Freddie. I'm gonna ask the others if they want to be my bridesmaids and just chill at the Burrow for a little."
"Okay see you later love. I might stop at the Burrow later."

She and Angelina quickly left while me and George went down to open our shop.

"So Georgie would you like to be my best man?" I asked as he came behind the cash register next to me.
"I would be honored." He bowed his head.
"Hey! What about me?" Lee walked in because he worked here sometimes.

"Would you like to be one of my groomsmen?"
"I guess I must suffer standing rather than sitting like the rest of the guests." He rolled his eyes.
"Stop complaining. You can also bring a plus one. I know y/n wouldn't mind."

"He won't bring anyone. You know he likes being single. Remember the wedding?" George joked.
"I forgot. It's alright Lee." I patted his shoulder.
"Who said I wasn't seeing someone?" He crossed his arms. Me and George looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"What's so funny?" He asked annoyed.
"So you're seeing someone?" George calmed down.
"I am." Our laughter calmed down.
"Who?" I asked intrigued.
"You'll meet her eventually." Lee walked over at our mail to see if anyone ordered anything.

Y/n POV
I went to the Burrow hoping Ginny was here. I opened the door and I saw Molly walk over to me.
"Is everything alright?"
"Oh, I'm fine Molly. I'm just wondering if Ginny is here."
"She's in her room."
"Okay thank you."

I walked up the stairs to Ginny's room. I knocked on the door.
"Coming," I heard shuffling until she opened the door.
"Y/n! Come in." She opened the door wider and Hermione was sitting on her bed.
"Me and Hermione were just talking. What brings you here?"

"I was here to see you Ginny, but this involves Hermione too." They both had worried looks.
"Don't worry it's nothing bad. I was just wondering if you both wanted to be my bridesmaids?" Their eyes widened and let out a squeal.

"Is that a question?!" Ginny ran over to me giving me a tight hug.
"Of course we will. This is so exciting." Hermione joined in our hug.

We pulled away laughing.
"Fantastic! Now all I need is Fleur and Luna. I already asked Angelina this morning."
"Bill and Fleur are stopping by soon I think. I also invited Luna to hang out, so you can ask them then."
"Perfect," I sat on the bed.

"This is all starting to feel more real." I looked at the ceiling.
"Can you tell us anything about the wedding so far?" Ginny asked raising her eyebrow.
"It's going to be on November twentieth. The wedding will be held here. And the theme colors are red, orange, and yellow."
"I can picture it already," Hermione said happily.

We've been talking for a little in Ginny's room, but then we heard Molly yell from downstairs.
"Girls! Bill and Fleur are here." We quickly got up.
"And Luna just arrived." With that, we all rushed downstairs.

"Fleur! Luna!" I rushed to them giving them each a hug.
"It's good to see you again." Fleur smiled.
"I need to ask you and Luna something."
"What is it?" Luna asked.
"Let's talk outside. Bill, I'm stealing your wife for a little." Bill chuckled.
"Bring her back in once piece."
"I will don't worry."

We sat on the grass as the sun shined on us.
"Okay, so how would you two like to be my bridesmaids?"
"That would be lovely. Of course y/n." Luna softly smiled.
"I can't wait. Of course." Fleur added.
"Bridesmaids check." I giggled.

Fred POV
We finally finished the day and locked up for the shop. Lee left a few minutes ago just leaving me and George.

"Want to go to the Burrow?" I suggested.
"Sure why not," he shrugged.
"Can we take the floo network though? I don't feel like apparating."
"Okay fine." We walked to the flat and grabbed a handful of Floo powder and George went inside the fireplace first.

I landed in the fireplace of the Burrow. I saw Ron, Harry, Percy, and Bill in the living room. I walked over sitting in an armchair.

"Just the people I wanted to see."
"What do you want Fred?" Ron asked a little annoyed.
"Don't listen to him. He's just grumpy that Hermione doesn't want to spend time with him."
"That's a lie." He pouted.
"Okay, Ron you keep telling yourself that." Harry pat his shoulder whole rolling his eyes.

"Back to the topic why do you want to see us?" Bill asked me.
"Do you all want to be my groomsmen?"
"Aw, I'm going to be a groomsman for one of my little brothers. I didn't think I would see this day to come." Bill had his hand over his heart.
"Real funny Bill." He laughed more and I let out a small laugh as well.

"How about you three?" I turned to Harry, Percy, and Ron.
"Of course Fred," Harry smiled.
"If you don't mind I rather just be in front of the crowd." Percy started to turn red.
"Don't worry. I understand." He sighed in relief.

"I mean you are my brother, so it would be rude if I said no," Ron said.
"You don't have to," I responded.
"No, I'm fine. Sorry I didn't mean it like that." Ron looked down a little embarrassed.
"I know what you meant. I just like messing with you." I winked and he scoffed.

"So who else did you ask?" Percy questioned me.
"Lee and George."
"Technically I'm his best man," George added in proudly.
"Of course you are." Bill laugh.
"How could I not? I am his twin after all." We all laughed at George and he joined in.

Me and the boys were talking, but then mum approached us.
"Fred I need you and y/n. They're still outside." Mum came into the living room.
"Okay, I'll be back." I got up and walked outside to see all the girls stargazing.

"Sorry to interrupt, but my mum wants to see us y/n." She tilted her head to where I was standing.
"Oh okay." She jumped onto her feet and we walked back in.

"What did you need mum?" I asked as we sat at the dining table.
"Me and Monica were working on your invitations and we came up with this." My mum pulled out an invitation and placed it in front of us.

The card was a light brown with gold writing and fall leaves on the corners.
"This is amazing Molly." Y/n smiled.
"I like it. That was quick."
"We wanted it to be done as soon as possible. Do you have your guest list, so we know who to invite?" Me and y/n looked at each other unsure.

"I see you haven't quite yet and that's fine. Just get it done soon." Mum slightly laughed.
"We will. I promise." Y/n reassured her.
"How about you come back over the weekend with the guest list?"
"That's works for me," I responded.
"Yes, we'll see you this weekend."

"I think we should get going though," I said looking at the time.
"If you must." We all said goodbye and went back to the flat.

Me and y/n arrived in the flat. Laying on our he'd exhausted from our day.

"Isn't it kind of exciting? Everything feels so much more real. Your mum has invitations done. I have my bridesmaids and you have your groomsmen. We need to discuss the guest list later this week."

"We will. For now, let's call it day."
"Okay fine." She huffed.
"If I'm being honest it does feel more real now. I can't wait to marry you." I kissed her forehead making her smile.
"I can't wait to marry you too Fred."
