Dress Shopping

Fred POV
I woke up with a smile on my face. Y/n was still sleeping on my chest, but she started to wake up.

"Good morning handsome." She kissed me.
"Good morning love," I replied.

Then there was a knock on our door.
"Hurry up. We're late!" I heard George's voice from the other side.
"We'll be ready soon!" I yelled back.

Me and y/n changed and walked out of our room. Angelina avoided eye contact with us looking down at her mug.

"What's wrong with her?" I asked George pouring myself some tea.
"I told you both to not have too much fun." He shook his head waking to the table.

"What are you-" then it clicked.
"I thought you both were asleep!"
"Exactly! We were asleep." Angelina looked up. Y/n took a bite of eggs but stopped. Her eyes widened and her cheeks flushed red just like mine.

"Next time just put the damn silencing charm," George suggested.
"Bloody hell," y/n muttered palming her forehead.

"Don't worry y/n. It's okay. Let's just meet with the girls. We have to go dress shopping." Angelina's spirits raised with excitement.

"Sorry Fred, but we have her for the day." Angelina had her arm locked with y/n's.
"Have fun," I replied as Angelina dragged y/n out.

"Love you!" Y/n shouted before the door shut behind her.
"Love you too." I chuckled.

"You ready?" George patted my shoulder.
"Ready as I'll ever be."

Y/N POV
Me and Angelina walked into the Leaky Cauldron seeing the rest of the girls all talking excitedly.

"Y/n! Today we finally get to look for a dress!" Ginny exclaimed.
"This is so exciting. All the dresses you get to try on." Hermione added in.
"You all seem more excited than me." I chuckled slightly.
"It's going to be so much fun. We promise." Angelina reassured me.

"Now let's get going. Today is going to be an amazing day." Ginny dragged me out of the Leaky Cauldron and everyone else followed.

London looks so different when it's daytime. There were so many people walking along the streets.

"This is the address mum told me." Ginny stopped in front of a little bridal shop at the corner. There were many different types of dresses on display.

We walked in and a woman walked over with a kind smile.
"Hello, ladies. My name is Elizabeth and will be helping you today. Now, who is the lucky bride?"
"Me," I raised my hand shyly.

"Okay now tell me a little what you're looking for today."
"I'm having a fall wedding, so something with sleeves would be nice. Nothing with too much poof. Just something simple, but also elegant." I replied.
"Sounds good. Follow me." We all followed her.

She took us to a corner of the store. Seeing all the dresses felt a little overwhelming.

"These dresses are around what you're looking for. Just choose a few that you like and then the real fun begins." The girls rushed to the racks looking at all the dresses.

I couldn't find a dress that fit what I truly wanted, but the girls didn't seem to have that problem.

"This would look cute," Ginny suggested.
"Oh what about this one?" Angelina asked.
"Stop. Y/n what do you like?" Hermione walked over to me.

"I'm open to all your suggestions. Let's just start with what you all chose because I haven't found anything on my end." I explained and they all nodded understanding.

Elizabeth took me to a fitting room.
"Are you ready to try on your first dress?" She asked excitedly.
"Yes," I smiled.

She slipped me in the dress Ginny had suggested. It had the long sleeves I was looking for, but I didn't know how I feel about it being a mermaid dress. The detailing was beautiful still.
