Wilbur POV

The three of them took the prince to their home, which was in a small village near the outskirts of the kingdom. It was filled with people like them, outcasts. Once Ivory became queen she exiled the poor peasants, believing that they were ruining the beauty of the kingdom. Techno tried to stand up for them only successfully joining them. And if Techno was going. Wilbur and Phil were going too.

Once inside their small cottage, Phil brought the prince to his room. He laid him on the bed before ushering his sons to the living room.

"Why did you bring him home with us?" Techno was the first to ask, still staring at the closed door that kept them from seeing the sleeping blonde.

"I wasn't going to do that to him." Phil stated, moving to the kitchen to make some food.

"Why not? He's part of the reason why we were exiled." Wilbur was quick to join Techno's side.

Phil let out a loud sigh, "We don't know that." He shook his head, "I found you two the same way. Should I have left you?"

Wilbur shifted uncomfortably, "That was different."

"What was different about it?"

"We didn't let that horrible woman rule while living in our own little world. We didn't sit by as she exiled half the town because they didn't have enough money. We didn't sit by as she taxed the hell out of everyone because she wanted more useless gowns." Techno spat. "He's the prince for crying out loud! And he did absolutely nothing."

"We don't know the whole story." Phil said gently, hoping to teach his sons a lesson. "We shouldn't assume anything."

"What else could have happened?" Techno asked seriously. Wilbur couldn't help but agree. Sure, he wasn't as direct, but he shared similar thoughts.

"I don't know." Phil admitted, making Techno smirk. He took it as a win, but Phil wasn't done. "But I'm not going to throw out a poor teenager who has gone through god knows what. He needs our help, it's as simple as that."

"It can't be that simple." Wilbur began.

"It is." Phil insisted, leaving no room for the argument to continue.

That's how the next two days continued, with arguments between the father and his sons. And Phil always won, pointing out his age as well as the boys' past. Techno and Wilbur had plotted to throw him out of the house, but he woke before they could put that plan into action.

Phil POV

Phil raced to the boy's side, hoping to save him from panic.

The boy slowly opened his eyes, shielding them from the irritating light. "Wh-where am I?"

"You're safe. You're in Willows Hollow." Phil told him, offering him a glass of water. "We found you in the woods passed out. Had me worried there mate."

The blonde offered him a smile, sipping his water slowly. "Thank you for saving me."

Phil nodded, "No problem, I'm just glad we found you before something bad happened." He turned and saw a glaring Techno and Wilbur. Quickly he got up to close the door. The prince didn't need to worry about that right now.

"Who's that?"

"Those are my sons, Wilbur and Techno. You can meet them later, Your Majesty."

The blonde shifted uncomfortably at him words, confusing Phil. Did he not hear those words often? Did he say something wrong? "Uh, call me Tommy. Just Tommy."

"Alright Tommy. I'm Phil." Phil smiled, trying to hide the concern that was growing in his chest. "What were you doing all alone in the woods Your- Tommy?"

Tommy was silent for a moment, thinking hard. "I got lost." He wouldn't meet Phil's eyes, making him stare at him in puzzlement. He decided to accept the answer as to not make him feel uncomfortable.

"Would you like some soup-" he was cut off by a loud groan from Tommy's stomach. Phil chuckled, "I guess that answers it."

Tommy smiled, "If it's not too much to ask." He fiddled with the lining of the bedsheets, as if expecting Phil to refuse.

"Of course not. I'll be right back." Phil stood up, giving the blonde one more glance before moving towards the kitchen.

Wilbur and Techno were, as expected, right outside the door. Phil took a deep breath, trying to hold back the annoyance he felt for them.

"Leave him be." he ordered, walking towards the boiling pot that was still on the stove.

"How long is he staying?" Wilbur asked.

"For as long as he needs to." Phil told him.

Techno and Wilbur both groaned at the response.

"Does he have to?" Wilbur complained. "Can't he leave now?"

"No Wil, he can't. He's staying at that's the end of it." Phil interrupted him. He poured the soup into a bowl. He pushed past them, sealing the door behind him.

He handed the bowl to Tommy who took it gratefully. "Thank you so much."

Phil was surprised by his gratitude, expecting the prince to be snobby. But it was a surprise he welcomed. Strangely he felt himself warming up to the boy.

He had an odd feeling that the three of them would get attached to him without even realizing it.
