ENTER THE DRAGON

Jared’s POV

Time to meet some other people now. But before I could do that, a fellow approached me. Me-“How may I help you?” A-“Sir, my name is Andrew and I’ve got something to confess.” Me-“I’m afraid but I’m no parson!” A-“Actually, it’s about that robbery of £1M.” And what he tells me can certainly help me. He told me that it was Mr. Milicevic’s son, Tomo Milicevic who paid for the robbery. Poor fellow, how much he trusted his son. I don’t know what will be his reaction if comes to know of the truth. But for now, time to meet Tomo.

T-“Yes? How may I help you?” Me-“Well, you can reduce my labour greatly by confessing you master plan.” T-“What are you talking about?” Me-“You do know, oh wait! Don’t try to run off. Police has surrounded you from everywhere. You can’t escape son. Now, shall I have a cup of tea?” After much expected melodrama, he does confess that he paid for the robbery, but what’s worse; he has only seen Kylie and has no idea who Ray is, let alone his whereabouts.

Some more days pass in all the anticipation, but every path leads to a dead end. I’m absolutely out of ideas as how to search for him. Suddenly, news awakens my senses. Me-“Sir, a dead body of a girl has been found dumped near The Dark Buddha!” Me-“And what do the forensics say?” P-“Sir, they found that the girl was poisoned about 8 days ago.” Me-“Hmm, one day before the robbery. What else?” P-“Sir, the girl’s face has been burnt off by acid. It’s unrecognisable!” Me-“What a devilry! Let’s go and see.” But when I see the girl, I find a dragon tattoo, same as that of Kylie on her neck. P-“Sir, is this...” Me-“No Patrick. This isn’t Kylie.” P-“But, the tattoo? And the date of death. And the body specs?” Me-“I know, but do you think that Ray would be so much a fool, as to leave that tattoo for identification and he wouldn’t try to remove it? This ain’t her and this ain’t right!” Feels like I’m going round and round. Maybe, I need to search for this past, to predict his future.

While our hero is trying to crack a case, in a different part of the world, a muscular hunk is after a gangster. And, this is none other than Shannon. Shannon Romero. Detective for the Mexican police.
