Seems like the physical securities aren’t helping. So Shannon heads to his secret base from where he has been taking care of the issues himself secretly. And although he always had a vague idea of how the hack will occur, he is surprised that all his ideas proved to be in vain. S-“Any weird disturbances?” F-“No sir. I think the hackers have no idea of our surveillance. That’s why they haven’t tried to harm our system.” S-“Isn’t it possible Fred that they already know about it but aren’t acting so as to dupe us?” F-“Possible only if they can think of it. Our system is invisible on the network of the building.” S-“Did you get any idea of the computers involved?” F-“I’ve been trying to trace the locations sir as I had got the signals involved in the hack, but...” S-“I get it. Danielle, do we have any idea of where their head programmer Stevie is?” D-“I’ve been tracing his whereabouts sir. He’s currently a self-employed programmer, who trains students and occasionally provides small companies with personalised security and accounting software.” S-“Can we get to him right now? I don’t want to leave any stone unturned.” D-“I’m afraid no. He’s out of the city. He’s probably in London right now for a meet.” S-“That’s good news! I can get something done then.” He tries to contact someone. Isn’t it strange that he contacts Jared? J-“Hello?” S-“Jay? Hi, it’s me Shan!” J-“That’s a long time mate! How are you? And I know you wouldn’t have called without purpose. What’s up?” S-“Actually...” Shannon tells him the details of Stevie and his suspected location. J-“I’ll try my level best to catch him. Give me an hour.” And as promised, Jared does get the man. He sets up a video conferencing. S-“So you are Stevie Aiello?” St-“I’m, but I assure you that I know nothing about it. I had left the project even before it was completed!” S-“Don’t try to fool me! I know you had left just a fortnight before the launch. And I know that the product was ready at the time. Do you know anything about Anthony? See, you are with the police, so don’t even think of escaping!” St-“But I assure you that I know nothing!” S (secretly to Jared)-“What does the polygraph say?” J-“He isn’t lying. I think you can get to know from him how can the system be hacked. If he was the head programmer, then he must have the idea of any bugs or flaws which can hack the system.” S-“You’re right. Can you help me with this? I’ve got to go and search for that Anthony gut again.” While Shannon still has no idea of Anthony’s hiding, Stevie does identify some flaws and gives complete insight. S-“Thanks for your help. But I’m sorry, until we find Anthony, we can’t leave you.”
The show is about to end and no signs of the suspected. Shannon decides he needs to freshen up. As he enters the booth, he hears two people arguing. Y-“I’m not gonna help anymore. It’s threatening my whole career.” Z-“I can pay you to last for a lifetime. And if you don’t comply, I can...” Y-“Do whatever suits you, but I’m not gonna stop. I’m gonna tell the police!” before Shannon could think, he hears a gunshot. Hurrying, as he exits, he sees someone on the floor and the other person running off. S-“Hey! Wait!” As he runs after that guy, he seems to have lost him in the crowd. He orders for everyone’s checking. But, fails to find the killer. Soon, it’s revealed that it was Anthony who got murdered and the hack had actually costed NOTH a lump sum of $ 2M. And all he remembers of the killer, was that he was about 5feet9, slim built and had suspicious grey eyes.
