Ray's POV

Every single heist, every single robbery demands for utmost attention to the details and most of all leaving no footprints. Well, there are no footprints left behind. Other than on the minds of people. Most of them are dead. Those who know too much about me. Well yes, Jared's wife knew too much about me. I have killed many I had no intention of killing. But you see, some crimes must be perfect, well at least clean. With limited income as I should say, cause I never rob for myself. If that would have been the case, I would rather have robbed banks, co-operatives or departmental stores. But that's the fun. Robbing for someone else is fun and often my clients need to be tested and rewarded, if you understand what you mean.

But I love Singapore you know. It's fun living here with all my hard earned money. And a pretty decent job at a software firm. I need a temporary stay until called upon. And the call came sooner I had thought.

X-"Roxanne Millers?" R-"That would be me." X-"I need your help." R-"What sorts?" X-"Extermination, of a kind." R-"I'm sorry, but could you be a little bit more precise." X-"Let's come to the point Ray. Don't bother with yourself as to how we found your contacts. You see, there is always someone better, waiting for the right time." R-"I would love to meet you then Mr. Li Chang." X-"Well well, seems like someone did their homework right. I knew I was contacting the right person." R-"So when do we meet?" X-"Care for some Italian?" R-"That would be lovely." X-"Dolce Vita, Mandarin Oriental, 2:00 pm sharp." R-"It's 2:00 pm then."

L-"Roxanne Millers, or should I?" R-"Ray would be just as fine." L-"Did you complete your search on James Yeoh?" R-"Yes. CEO Yeoh enterprises taken over from his father, family Coup d'état, as I should call it. Actually, he renamed the company from MYC enterprises. And from some account of his history, he probably is some relation of yours..." L-"Yes, step brother. His mother is my father's second wife." R-"I see. Well, internet is definitely not good. Or probably you are great at removing footprints. Anyway, I'm least concerned with your family feuds. What's my job, that 'extermination'?" L-"You have to exterminate James Yeoh." R-"I'm sorry?" L-"Yes, kill him." R-"I'm sorry sir but I'm not a professional assassin. I'm just a hired thief. Ask me to steal the most classified documents and it's done. But I'm not a..." L-"Please, you have killed plenty of people, and that too quite cleanly." R-"That was the demand for me to remain hidden." L-"Well, then you better kill him to remain hidden. You see, I have my own ways of tracking you. And believe me, I won't kill you, just hand you over to the British government. There is somebody I know who would love you get killed." R-"Oh you won't do such a..." L-"I will because I can." R-"Then why not get your brother killed yourself. Seems you have a pretty advanced 'army'." L-"Because I don't have people for that. At least none as good as you. You have no footprints and honestly don't know how to create them. Do the job and live rest of your life as a happy human. Or as I better say, return home." R-"You don't..." L-"Believe me I do know your past and the reasons you became what you are. You have to make changes to his will and kill him in an accident. I'll define the changes to you at the right time. Now, relax, take these $1M and keys to your new apartment. I hope you'll like the toys I have left for you."
