Chapter 8: Love You Hate You

It's been a month since Mina left with Y/n back to Canada. They settled in with mixed emotions, of course they're glad to be with each other again but they're also worried, especially Y/n. She doesn't want the older one to lose everything she's worked on. She doesn't want to be the reason of her losing everything she worked hard on.

Suzy welcomed them, they told her what happened. Everybody was trying to live their life as if nothing bad just happened.

Mina just tried to live like she used to live as before, a normal person. With no cameras around, no fame, no parents who will dictate her what she should do and not do.

While Y/n resumed with her cafe with Suzy, and each day she's worried if the news will break out. Everyday she's worrying, everyday is a mystery for them. They don't know what's gonna come next.

Y/n parted with Suzy as they closes down the shop.
"Take care on your way back, Suzy."

The older one have started living in a different studio when Y/n came back with Mina, ofcourse it would be unnecessary for her to live with Y/n now that she have Mina, she thought that they deserved a private life. But not that private though since she's just living next to their studio.

"Hm, you too Y/n, and Mina." then the latter went her own way since she needed to buy some stocks for her pantry since she's running out low on stocks. Y/n spaced out, what now then?

She went back to her apartment and went straight to looking for the girl which is most likely to have been waiting for her to come back home since this morning.

She found her sitting by the small balcony with a cup of coffee in her hand. Her eyes out the peaceful street. She's wondering what's going on inside the latter's head. She looked at peace but her eyes looked distant.

She wrapped her arms around her petite figure and unintentionally caught a whiff of her hair. She smelled nice as always, oh how she just hoped time would stop and they don't need to worry about anything else at all.

Mina turns her head and met her eyes, she flashes her trademark gummy smile and said with a soft tone.
"Hey, welcome back."

Y/n placed a soft peck on the older one's cheek that made the older one smile. "I'm home."

Y/n spooned her closer, feeling troubled and Mina could feel it in her actions.

This is something that she wanted right? Mina being with her, just the two of them. But why does it feel so... soon and different?

"What's wrong Y/n?" Mina pulls away a little and turns around so she could see Y/n's eyes.  She cupped her cheeks and look deep into her beautiful troubled eyes.

Y/n was silent, just looking back with an unreadable expression before smiling, shaking it off.
"Nothing, I'm just tired after work, that's all."

But Mina knows what's bothering her, because it bothers her too. Even she doesn't know where this one is going. It's like she's thrown herself into the wind, letting them take her where they want to.

She knows, this is where they take the risks.

But why does she feel like Y/n is starting to lose faith in them? Does her parents really bother her that much? She was willing to fight for the two of them but why is Y/n acting like she's slowly...letting go?

These past few days, her words are stating to get thin, her hugs, touches and kisses are getting rare.

Infact, to feel her hug again today made her feel a slight tinge of hope that maybe Y/n isn't really doubting them now. That maybe she's just tired after all she's working more than ever now since she's with her she needs to make a living.
