Chapter 29: Us

Waking up is one of the things that Y/n is looking forward every day. Seeing such a beautiful woman next to her, who wouldn't want to?

Y/n will never get tired of her, really. How her hands feels against her flawless porcelain skin, how she'd take those rhythmic breaths that slips out of her slightly parted naturally pink lips. Oh, that little cupid's bow, she always finds them cute.

Her eyes gently fluttered shut, her long lashes in display. Y/n had an urge to be naughty and disturb her for not being able to take her cuteness but she knows the latter needs more rest than ever so she held herself back.

Every mornings she'd always come across this dilemma. Whether to jump out of bed and start her day off and be productive or just lay in the bed and do nothing but to just stare at the goddess next to her in these linen sheets? Y/n is inbetween these two.

She wrapped her arms around her smaller frame and nuzzled her neck to which Mina slightly hums to. What a cutie.

She stayed like that for a couple of minutes before she quietly slips off of the bed to do her morning routine, prepares breakfast for her wife.

And also, unconsciously pours a fresh milk on the three pups bowl. Few months back after the pups have grown, Mina also asked her brother to bring Ray to their house, starting from that day they had three pups to take care of.

"Ray, Suk, Hayan, drink up, little babies~" Y/n cooed with an unconscious smile on her face, she only noticed her actions when she was putting back the carton of milk in the fridge.

She's been doing this for months now, in times when Mina is feeling a bit unwell.

Because Mina, she worries a lot for the pups, you could say that she's that kind of a dog-person and Y/n isn't, or that's what she thought and what she shows to Mina.

So if Mina saw how she acted towards their dogs just now she'll make fun of her, saying things like,
"I thought you don't like them?"

"I thought you don't like them?" Y/n flinches and turns around to see Mina's teasing smile.

She sighed and playfully rolls her eyes.
"Pff, yeah I don't."

Mina approaches her and snakes her arms around her waist, still have that teasing smile on.
"But what you're saying doesn't go along with what you just did, honey." Well, oh boy, Mina just called her what? And with what tone?

"P-People change, babe—" Y/n stutters, still affected by why she said and how she said it causing Mina to erupt with giggles, pulling away from her.

"I knew you would love them in the end."

"Fine, whatever. But where's my morning kiss?" Y/n playfully rolls her eyes and reaches out to Mina.

The older girl pulls back and says,
"No, I haven't brushed my teeth yet. I just came down and—"

"Oh, come on. I've already kissed you right when you woke up before—"

"I know and that has to be stopped."

"No way." Y/n pulls her in and since Mina's tummy has already grown big enough for her not to be able to react fast, all she could do was yelp. Once Y/n's lips met hers, they fell into a series of giggles.

"You're such a weirdo Y/n, jinja.."

"I know."

This went on for few more months, the change on Mina's tummy only fuels Y/n's excitement. She can't help looking at her while they sat on the couch watching their favourite show. Mina is silently eating when she caught her staring with a foolish smile on her face, for the umpteenth time this morning.
