Chapter 5: Alone Time With Her

By the hospital's lobby, Mina whined and pulls her wrist from her father's grasp, even halts in her steps making the man sighs and turn to look at her.

Mina gave her father a look of hurt as she held her own wrist.
"Just what do you think you're doing Mina?"

She just stared back at him with puppy eyes, that's what it seems to him.
"Don't give me any of that look and tell me, have you gone mad? Why are you with that girl? And what did you say? Girlfriend? Are you really serious?!"

"I am serious.. I like her, she likes me-" Mina cut herself off when her father huffed and massaged his own temples.

"Mina. Are you really hearing yourself right now? You do know that's its gonna ruin your career, the career that you worked so hard on! And also family's image-"

"I do, know that.." Mina weakly said.

"So why?" He slightly raises his voice at her, some people looked their way. Good thing Mina is wearing a bucket hat and a mask, if not, people will really know it was her.

Mina whined and stomps her foot in the process,
"But I like her and that's the only reason I know!"

Akira scoffed and disbelievely looked at her daughter, he waves a finger at her and he spoke.
"No, you don't. Whatever you feel about her, it's not serious you're just confused. Now, you're not going anywhere near that girl again, once she completes her quarantine she'll head back to where she belongs."

"Canada, dad."

"Yes, Canada. She'll go back and you, you'll be keeping a distance from her. I don't want you near her, do you get me?"

"I really hate it when you do this dad!" she then turns on her heels and walked out on her father who was surprised by her behavior. Mina doesn't disobey him as much as his son, Kai, does. To be specific, this is probably the second time Mina objected him, the first time was when he didn't agreed to Mina when she said she wants to take the risk of flying off all the way from Japan to Korea to train and to become a kpop idol.

He knows it, they knows it, Mina is the type of person who is contented with what comes to her. What her parents decides for her is always the best and she always follows what they say. But now, she sort of changed.

"Mina, Mina!-" he cut himself off when more people looks his way, he sighed as he watched his daughter's retreating figure.

"Luuuh, ang cute talaga ng batang toh~"(This kid is really cute~) Y/n cooed, her handphone on her hand while the other reaching for the oranges on the plate placed on her lap. She is talkimg about no other than the youngest member of ITZY, Shin Yuna. The idol that attract people's attention through her cute, innocent, yet playful vibe. Since Y/n is spending self quarantine at the hospital two wesks straight it wouldnt be too bad if she takes advantage of the fast internet which is very much of a rare case in the place where she very first came from. Watching kpop reality shows would be much of a good idea to pass time and she's starting off with ITZY's Bu:Quest.

She's got a lot of kpop reality shows to watch if only not to the figure who flung the door open. Y/n had her eyebrows raised at her as she approaches her. Mina went to her luggage and pulls out some of her clothes and approaches her.

"Hey wait, wait wait!" she panicked, Mina shouldn't be near her since she's an individual under quarantine. One meter distance is a must.
