Chapter 26: What do I want?

It's been weeks now since she agreed on adopting the puppies and she's somehow feeling like she's regretting herself for decision.

As you can see.. Mina.. Have been giving most of her attention to those cute little creatures that she'll find waddling around inside the house.

There was this one time those two pups snuck up on her while she went down to drink water in the middle of the night.

She shrieked and backs away a little, once she saw it was only the puppies she held her heart and then composes herself.
"Hey, you guys shouldn't be in here. Shoo."

She tried to shoo them away but they just looked up at her with their cute little eyes, barking a little with their tiny voices.

Y/n grunted and waves them off,
"Shhhhh! Hey, don't be noisy. You'll wake up everybody-"then the pups walks up to her and stood up, trying to climb up her foot.

"Hey, hey! Stop, shoo! Go back to your bed!"

Funny, after taking them in Mina didn't waste any time to buy them their necessities. How can she say no to that after seeing how happy Mina is with them around.

She's not a pet lover but she gotta admit they do look cute, but obviously she doesn't like the the way Mina likes them. Mina feeds them, walks them on the backyard, talks to them, plays with them. And it's crazy how Mina spends more time with them than her now.

It's funny but yes she's jealous, ofcourse she wouldn't say that out loud and instead acted like she was cool with it but once Mina is with them she ends up watching them and thinking wherever she lacked in with arms crossed.

She picked the two up and placed them back on their bed not as gently as Mina does.
"Stay there and wait till tomorrow, Mina is probably going to spend the rest of the day watching over you two anyways." her voice had a tinge of jealousy in it.

She points at them as she spoke, she's crouching next to their bed while they looks up at her with those eyes that made Mina feel too captured with them.
"Don't. Look at me. With those eyes. It won't work." yes, just when she said it's crazy to think that Mina talks to them, but here she is now, doing the same.

She stood back up and turns on her heels, leaving. Marching back to the stairs then to the master's bedroom. She slips in and into the blankets, drifting back to sleep. Once she lays her hand on the blanket where Mina's body should be under, she opens her eyes again. She's not there.

She sat up again and looked around, she slips out of the bed again and checked the bathroom and she weren't there, she walked down the stairs again and looks around, scratching her non itchy nape.

She was about to walk past the bed of the puppies in the kitchen when a figure stood up from behind the island.
"Ah!" Y/n's coarse bedroom voice boomed, surprising the figure as well, flinching at Y/n's voice.

Y/n placed a hand over her chest and sighed,
"Ah, jinja.. Don't scared me of like that.." she stood up straight again and places both her hands on her waist.

"Ani.. I was just checking on them since I heard their little barks —what about you Y/n?" Mina innocently said with a small voice.

Y/n sighs again and gently took hold of Mina's arm, pulling her with her as she said.
"Honey, they're fine, it's midnight. We gotta go back to bed."

Then the puppies hops off their bed and clings onto Mina's ankle making the latter to gently whisk her arm from Y/n's grasp and crouches down to pat the puppies. Y/n rolled her eyes at this.
"I think they wants to tell me something."

"No, they're not. Come on let's go." she tries to pull the girl up again but she won't budge when all of a sudden the puppies got on a pooping position and that's when Y/n lost it.
