Chapter 22: Wedding, Family and TWICE

A week after Y/n woke up, she was discharged and soon she moved to her apartment. Gladly, Mark still haven't told Mina about the house that she worked so hard on purchasing. Mina is still yet to know about it and she thought it'd be better if Mina will know it after the wedding ceremony is done. She wanted to surprise her and her family.

And speaking about the wedding, they wanted to do the it as soon as possible so the medias won't be able to snoop around. They wanted this for real now, and they couldn't be even more certain about it.

The TWICE members have heard about it and couldn't be more happier for the two, saying they'll make it to their wedding. Both sides families are said to be there too. At first, Y/n parents were surprised and worried because thinking about their daughter getting married to a rich and popular girl makes them feel inferior to the other side. But not long after Y/n have told them about her surprise, only the Myoui's doesn't know about it.

And so the day of the wedding came, December 23, quite an interesting month to do get married. Y/n kept pacing around the dressing room. She eyed herself on the mirror. She's clad on her white tuxedo and black tie and shoes. Her hairdresser cut her grownout hair again to shoulder length.

She made a discomfort look as she looks at herself,
"I don't.. I don't think it's a good idea for me to wear these, don't you think?" she asks Suzy who is sitting on the couch not far from her.

"Bakit? Okay naman ah?" (Why? It's looks fine to me.)

"Bat kasi ganito, hindi naman ako lalake ah-" (Just why do I have to wear these? I'm not a guy-)

Suzy sighed and walks up to her with hands on her hips. "So maggogown ka? Sige try mo, ayun oh." (So you're gonna wear a gown? Go ahead try it, it's right over there.) she follows her gaze. While they were picking out what Y/n is going to wear they prepare both gown and a tux, it'll just depend on what she wants to wear in the end.

Y/n stared at the white gown and whips her head away, finding it even more uncomfortable.
"Ano ba kasi toh? Bat kelangan may ceremony?! Bat kelangan magsuot ng ganto?! Bat may-" (Just what is this? Why do we still need a ceremony?! Why we need to wear these?! Why-) Y/n aggressively pulls on her tie, ruining it. Suzy came up to her and held her face, slapping it a bit to wake her spirit up.
"Tanga, syempre. 'San ka nakakakita ng ikinakasal wala seremonya? Kasal-kasalan nga ng mga bata meron eh-" (Ofcourse stupid. Is there a marriage without ceremony? Even children's play wedding have 'em-) she said while fixing Y/n tie again then tightens it up and chokes her a bit. Then they got cut off when someone knocked on the door and a head peeks in.

"Hi.." the two was left awestruck at how beautiful Mina looked, with the gentle makeup applied on her porcelain skin, hair tied up in a bun. Not to mention that soft 'Hi', just imagine that.

Y/n immediately looks away and panicked.
"M-Mina, why are you here? You shouldn't be in here! We can't see each other yet!" caused Mina's eyebrows lifts up.

"Why?" Mina cluelessly asked. Suzy laughed awkwardly and slaps Y/n on her arm, whispering to her a bit while laughing "Ahahaha, tanga mo.. paniniwala lang natin yun sa Pinas.. Di niya yun alam. Di NILA yun alam.. ahahaah..." (You're so stupid.. That is only our strange beliefs back in the Philippines.. She doesn't know it. THEY don't know it.. Ahahaah..) then she looks at Mina again who just laughed a bit, confused.

Then Y/n recomposes herself and looks at Mina who is already looking at her with a gentle smile and a... blush? Or was it the lighting?

"I just came to check on you that's all.." Mina timidly said, standing by the doorframe, hands behind her.

"Ay, wag kang mag-alala di toh tatakas. Ikaw nalang yung tumakas pwede pa." Suzy said while sarcastically laughing, Y/n glared down at her friend.

Mina sort of caught what that one means and laughed a bit. "You look... stunning Y/n.." she confesses with a bashful smile.
