Chapter 19: Surprise

Mina felt extremely downcast than ever, she kept wondering how can Y/n keep up without them seeing each other at all. For a month, they haven't talked properly.

She really misses her, she's starting to think bad things.

'Is she starting to lose interest in me?' the idea itself  hurts her, she shook her head, telling herself that that should be the last one that'll cross her mind.

'But.. she's been... cold for a month now? Is something up again?' she let her overthinker side of her take over.

'Did I do something wrong?...' she thought, recalling the last time they did a video call. The party that André is going to hold.

She couldn't find anything that she said wrong but she did ended the call quite arrogantly but they were fine after that, since they called after.

Just what is up?

Mina has always been an anxious one since she was little. She tends to take things very seriously, she's a overthinker, and she often likes to think about things in different ways.

Between the two of them Y/n is mostly the one who starts the calling sessions and even the messaging sessions, now that the latter isn't giving any of those anymore makes her feel like something is up.

"Maybe something is wrong.." she came up her mind. Finally it's Twice's day off, she decided to wait for Y/n no matter how late it get, just so she could talk to her on the phone.

She wanted to fly off and go to where Y/n is by she's afraid her manager have stopped letting her since she still got more promotions to do, as an individual to be exact. At the very moment, it's still night time at Y/n's so she waited for couple of hours to call her at the right time but as she did her phone chimes indicating she just recieved an email.

She casually opens unlocks her phone and taps on the email, her eyebrows knits together as she eyes the mail that's been sent to her.

It's from an unknown sender but what really caught her attention is the thread of photos, a lot of them actually.

It was her dear Y/n sitting on the bar counter, smiling as if enjoying herself. Seems to be taken in different days since her clothings are different to one another. But what's the same in all of the pictures was the girl she's with, smiling just as sweetly as her.

Mina is silent, she tried to process it all and tries to think of it in a good way.
'Maybe she's a friend?'

She doesn't want to jump into conclusions again, she swore to herself that she'll be more understanding of Y/n. She'll be more persevering because she loves her so much.

She loves Y/n.

Then her eyes drops to the pictures again as she scrolls a bit more and saw a picture taken in a different angle, now showing a more clearer look of Y/n smiling more evidently at the girl who has her hands on her shoulder.

She's pushing away all the malicious thoughts and tried to understand Y/n. This can't be another reason of their fight.

Understanding your lover is very important. Sure, complicated things comes and couples often argue about that. It just depends on how the two will deal with it.

She believes in Y/n words now, she's holding onto it.
"I only like you and only you Mina."

Now who would send her such things? Why? What are their intentions? Mina knows it too well now, they're trying to ruin them again.

The thought alone makes her furious. Her taps on her phone a few times then she halts, her hand hovering over the delete icon. She taps it and closes her phone again.
