"Luke, we can't break into a pizzeria at four in the morning! We'll get caught!" I whisper shouted. Ok, this Australian boy was out of his damn mind.
"But, hey, you'll be with me if you get caught." He smirked. I rolled my eyes at him as he continued to pick the lock with a sharp metal object he had found on the concrete.
"Luke, I will get fired if anyone finds out." I tugged onto his jacket, really hoping he would stop, so we could just leave.
"Well you're not gonna get fired because we're not gonna get caught." With that said, Luke had unlocked the lock. Are you kidding me right now?
"Luke, you're out of your damn mind." I somewhat laughed, while rubbing my hand over my forehead.
Luke put his hand out in front for me to grab. "C'mon."

After fifteen minutes of getting set into the pizzeria, there were already some boxes of pizza made, so Luke and I decided to take one and eat it. I could say I was starving since I hadn't eaten anything since six thirty.
"Luke, I can't believe we did this." I said while chewing on my piece of pizza.
"It's okay, we'll be fine." Luke had reassured me as he rested his hand on top of mine. I loved when he did that; it was just so sincere and like he actually cared. I looked up at him and smiled and he did the same.
"I'm still sorry about earlier today, you know?" Again, I brought up the topic, only because I thought it was appropriate.
"It's fine-" Luke had started, but of course I had cut him off.
"No, it's not fine. I was such an idiot for just asking some dumb questions that I shouldn't even have to know the answer to. I'm just really sorry; I'm a curious person and can never help myself-" This time, Luke had cut me off.
"My mom has breast cancer."
"What?" I asked confusedly.
"My mom has breast cancer. That's why I'm here. I couldn't deal with all the commotion back home, so I decided to move here, which actually hasn't been the best choice of my life." Luke explained. Now I felt even worse for asking earlier tonight.
"Luke, I'm so sorry, oh my gosh. You so had the right to storm away from me. Wow." I said all rushed.
"Liv, it's fine. I overreacted, but now I'm over it." Luke's thumb caressed over my knuckles, which kind of made me shiver, but in a good way.
"If it makes you feel any better, ONCE, I had this friend and her grandmother had breast cancer." It took only Luke's raised eyebrow for me to mentally smack myself and realize that wouldn't make him feel better at all. "Wow, I'm so dumb, sorry."
"Nah, it's just cute, Liv." With that, Luke let out a grand cough, which required him to stand up and move away from me, so he could cough into his arm.
"These allergies, huh," I stated.
"Yeah, these-" Before Luke could continue, an alarm began ringing. My heart beat started racing faster than it ever has in my whole entire life.
"Luke, oh my, God, what do we do?" I panicked. I was not good in these types of situations and I was ninety nine point ninety nine percent sure I would pass out right then and there.
Luke grabbed my hand and bought it up to his lips and kissed it very quickly, "Run!"
