What woke me up, was some light peeking through the loft from the opening of it. From my assumptions, I probably only had slept for a few hours, meaning Alyssa was still dead asleep.
The one thing that made me want to cry was Luke didn't wake up next to me. He left sometime before me, but there was a note left beside me, right where he slept. I could still smell his scent that was left on the blankets, which just put me in a daze. I picked up the note and started reading it.
Dear liv,
I left early only because my plane was going to leave way before you would wake up. I would totally say goodbye to you and kiss you like you've never been kissed before but you looked so peaceful in your sleep i couldn't do that to you. Anyways, hopefully ((aka we will))) we'll meet again and I'll be able to take you on dates, call you my girlfriend, kiss you and never stop.
Love, luke xoxo
He wanted to make me cry to be honest. Further down the paper, he had left his phone number. Thank, God, actually. That's the only way I'd be able to keep in contact with him. I quickly wiped a tear away from underneath my eye and mentally told myself to stay calm.
I put the note in my pocket and organized the sheets and pillows, so I could go downstairs and check up on Alyssa.
As I made my way down the ladder, I heard some rustling coming from the couch. Probably Alyssa had awoken. In fact, she did.
"Hey, Lyss," I walked over to her and her messy hair. Her dress had definitely ridden up even more and her makeup was all over her face.
"I think someone robbed our house. He left like two hours ago, I think. He wore all black and was tall." Her still drunk self explained. She saw Luke making his way out of the studio.
"You probably just dreamt it. You should go back to sleep." I patted her head and pulled a blanket over her body.
Luke, when will I ever see you again.
The end.
Authors note: this is the end omfg but there's GONNA be an epilogue and I think im GONNA divide it into two parts IM EXCITED
