Both Luke and I were panting from all that running that we just had done. I felt like I had just ran a marathon and I was ready to throw up all the contents in my body.

Luke and I were now all the way on the other side of my neighborhood, just by a couple of trees that kind of reminded me of Washington Square Park's area.

"Are you okay?" Before I could give Luke a brief answer, he pulled me into a tight hug, assuming like he never wanted to let go. His hand ran up and down my arm, letting me receive some warmth, even though none was needed.

"Yeah, I'm okay," I gently pulled away, rubbing the back of my head. "Just traumatized, I guess."

"It was thrilling, exhilarating," Luke listed while laughing. I giggled with him too, admiring the cuteness that his tall self contained.

We both started walking together now, I was making an assumption that we were somehow gonna end up in my studio.

After walking for a couple minutes, halfway at my neighborhood, Luke spoke up. "Liv, I have something to tell you."

"Go ahead," I was kind of nervous for what I was about to hear from Luke's Australian accented mouth, not knowing if these news were going to be good or bad.

"I'm leaving tomorrow. For Australia." He simply stated. I stopped walking, which made Luke stop too.

"I think we should stop here now, Luke." I stated. This was going to be a problem.

"What do you mean? Your studio is more farther down that way, right?" He said pointing into the correct direction of my building.

"No, I meant stop whatever this is." I referred to our not so/so relationship, I guess.

"Why, we can still keep in contact." Luke added. He walked up to me and grabbed one of my free hands.

"I have a problem with get attached to people. This long term friendship thing isn't going to work because I do know I like you more than a friend and if you don't, it's okay because I'm used to it, but I don't want us to be miles apart from each other. It's too much for me." I wanted to cry. Luke was such a nice person to me tonight and now he's moving back to Australia the next day. It feels like a waste of knowing someone.

"Liv, please don't cry." Luke pulled me into a hug and momentarily pressed kisses onto the surface of my head. "And I do like you more than a friend too, so you don't have to worry about that." His last comment made me laugh a little, which made him back away so he could see my face clearly.

"Luke, you have to give me a reason for me to still have hope on this," I sniffled. He nodded his head and asked for my phone. I listened and gave it to him as he took his time and did whatever he wanted to do. He gave me back my phone, which was opened up on Notes.

His address. His address in Australia. Luke gave it to me.

"One day, you'll visit me in Australia." He simply stated, I started smiling like this was the best thing that has ever happened to me, which actually kind of was. "Let's go back to your place, yeah?" I nodded in agreement and began to walk, but Luke pulled me back and intertwined his fingers with mine.
