Chapter 2

Violets POV

I walk off to find the guy with the shield called Captain America. I was ordered to kill him and anyone in my way

"Looking for me?"

I turn around and see the blonde looking at me

I use my powers to push him into the wall behind him

I start walking towards him when black widow started fighting me

I wrapped my hand around her throat and threw her to the ground

I looked back up at Captain America and smirked

Based on the look of fear in his eyes I could tell he was trying to figure out a way to do this without someone getting hurt. Too bad we have different agendas.

I ran towards him and started to use my powers to hit him but he used his shield to block them

I decided to just use my fists. I started punching and throwing kicks as often as I could

Every time he would punch I would dodge it

"Violet please stop"

"I'm gonna regret this later" he said before he punched me square in the head

I lost my balance and fell backwards hitting the ground and then blacking out

* 2 hours later*

I opened my eyes to see a grey cement room

I try to move but then realize that I'm chained to the wall

"Hello?"

"Hey Cap, she's up" Falcon said

I saw Captain America start to walk to me

"Do you know who I am?"

"Captain America?"

"Do you know my real name?"

I shook my head no

"I'm Steve. Steve Rogers"

"Wait. Rogers? That guy from earlier said my last name was Rogers."

Does this mean we are related?

"Umm yeah it is. I'm your older brother" he says looking at me with uncertainty

"What? That doesn't make any sense"

"Listen I'll tell you everything later but right now I need you to tell me what happened when the power went out"

"This guy had the book with the words that can control James and I. He used it to make us kill you."

"Anything else?"

I shook my head no

"Where's James?"

"He's over there. He hasn't woken up yet"

"Can I see him?"

Steve looked at me for a second

"I promise I won't try to kill you."

He undid the chains and I walked over to James, his arm was in between two large metal things holding it so he couldn't escape.

"James?" I said quietly while brushing hair out of his face

I've never noticed how soft his skin was

I felt him start to move and I stood up

"Steve? Violet?"

"Which Bucky am I talking to?" Steve asked

"You used to put newspapers in your shoes. Your mothers name was Sarah" James said as he lightly laughed
