Violets POV
We finally make it to the safe house which is in the middle of nowhere
"Morning sleepy head" Steve said smiling at me
"Sorry I didn't mean to be asleep the whole time" I said getting up
"It's okay. Remember when you used to come into my room when you had a nightmare" Steve said laughing a bit
"No actually" I said looking down
"Hey they'll all eventually come back don't worry" he said kissing my head
I smiled at him and we made our way to the house
"It's pretty here" I said looking around
"Let's just hope he's not too surprised to see us" Nat said leading the way to the house
"Who?"
"Clint" Steve said sighing
"Who's that?"
"You'll see" nat said with a smirk knocking on the door
"Hey Nat. Clints in the living room. It's good to see you" a brown haired woman said opening the door and hugging Nat
"I'm sorry to just come by like this"
"It's okay. We understand" the woman said smiling at all of us
"Hi I'm Steve this is my sister Violet and my friend Bucky" Steve said holding his hand out for the woman to shake
"Nice to meet all of you. Come in" she said shaking Steve's hand and letting us in
"I have some leftover hair dye if you would like to use it" the woman said to me
I gave her a confused look and she laughed
"So you don't have to worry about being spotted"
"Oh umm sure thanks"
"I'm Laura by the way"
She gave me the hair dye and showed me to the bathroom
I started mixing the dye when I heard a knock on the door
I opened the door to see Nat
"Oh hey Nat"
"Hey do you need some help"
"Yes please I have no clue what I'm doing"
"You know I think Bucky will like this color on you" she said smirking
"What do you mean?"
"You know he likes you. It's obvious"
"I don't think that's really what's on his mind nowadays"
She started to section my hair and apply the dye
"Now might be the best time"
"While we are both running?"
"Better late then never. Trust me it's better not to wait, especially when on the run. You never know what could happen. Life's too short"
"I guess so. I'm just worried that he doesn't like me like I like him"
"Oh trust me honey. He definitely does. He looks at you like your the only girl in the world. That's rare"
"What about Steve"
"What about him?"
"What if he doesn't approve or doesn't want his little sister dating his best friend"
