Violets POV
I woke up in a room full of windows
I looked over and saw Bucky sleeping
"Bucky?"
He woke up and looked over at me
"Hey, how're you feeling?" He asks with a sweet smile
"Fine, a little tired. Is the baby okay?"
"He's amazing" Bucky says with a big smile
"It's a boy?" I ask with tears in my eyes
"Yes you were right! Do you want to meet him?"
I nod my head yes and Bucky gets up to get the baby
He comes back and puts him in my arms
"Oh my god" I whisper
"He's so small" I say looking up at Bucky
"We need to give him a name" Bucky says looking at our baby
"How about Steve?" I ask looking at our son
"I think that's a wonderful name" Bucky says smiling
After a few days we were cleared to come back home
Adjusting to having a baby around is definitely hard with all of the animals around here but Bucky and I are doing pretty good with feedings and naps. I'm proud of us.
"Hey baby, wanna go for a swim?" Bucky asks as he puts his arms around me
"Who's gonna watch Steve?" I ask finishing the last of the dishes turning around to face Bucky
"Grace said she's fine with doing it. We need to relax when we can doll."
"Okay fine" I said with a smile
He smiles evilly and picks me up and throws me over his shoulder
"Bucky! Put me down!" I scream as he runs to the lake
He throws me in and I quickly come to the surface
"You're an ass!" I yell from the water
He takes off his pants and shirt
"Take a picture it'll last longer" he says with a smile
"Just get in here" I say taking off my clothes
He jumps in and swims to me
"It's so quiet here" I say as Bucky holds me
"Violet, I never thanked you. For giving me a reason to keep going, for helping me fight through my demons, and for giving me a son and a family to love. For showing me I can be loved. I love you, with every breath I take my love grows stronger for you. You are my everything you are my world." Bucky says as he looks at me with a smile
"Bucky, I love you too. Forever."
He smiles and pulls me in for a kiss
We stay in the water floating around for about an hour then decide to go inside
"Hey thanks for watching him" I say as Grace hands Steve over to me
