Short chapter but the next one is long so it's just a transition chapter
Violets POV
I wake up with a massive headache and open my eyes to see bright ass white lights
"Good you're up" I heard Steve say from the corner
"What happened?"
"You hit your head while we were fighting Tony. Do you not remember?"
"Kind of. Where's Bucky?"
"About that Vi, Buck decided that he's gonna stay here for a little longer. T'Challa thinks they can help him by getting all of his memories back and trying to figure out a way to make the words useless against him."
"So he's just gonna leave us?"
"Well actually I was gonna see if maybe you wanted to stay for a bit aswell? We need to make sure neither of you are a threat"
"A threat? You think I'm gonna go all super soldier on you?"
"You have multiple times before Vi. It's just a precaution"
"Where will you go?"
"Into hiding for a little bit, but I promise I'll visit and remember it's only temporary" he says hugging me
"Please be safe Steve. I love you"
"I will I love you too"
He walks away and T'Challa comes in shortly after
"How're you doing?"
"I'm fine. When can I see Bucky?"
"You may see him now. We have set up two huts for you both near the edge of Wakanda." (Idk what to call the little house thingys)
He took me down to where Bucky was and I see two little houses and a little farm in the middle
"We will be back here to get started tomorrow morning. See you then"
"Thank you T'Challa"
He smiles and walks away as I walk towards one of the houses
"Bucky?"
I see a curtain move and Bucky comes out with no metal arm
"What happened to the arm?" I asked as he smiled and hugged me
"Tony blasted it off. I'm not mad about it though I kinda like it" he said laughing a bit
"Well if you like it then so do I. So what's going on here?" I asked pointing to the sheep and goats in the front
"We aren't in New York anymore Vi. T'Challa says that this will help us"
"Are you scared?" I ask
"About tomorrow?"
He hugs me from behind as we take in the beautiful sight of Wakanda
He nods his head slightly
"I'm terrified. But I want it to be over, I wanna be free from this"
I turned around and looked at him
"We will be. It's gonna be hard but we can do it. I mean we've made it this far"
He smiles at me and pulls me in for a kiss
"I guess we better go to sleep" Bucky says still holding me
"Buck will you sleep with me? I don't want to be alone"
"Of course" he says kissing my head
Maybe it won't be so bad here.
*2 years later*
"Buck don't touch him!"
He gets kicked in the shin by the goat and falls down
"I told you-"
"I know"
We laugh and I look over to see T'Challa on his way to us
He comes and sets a metal box on the bails of hay
He looks at Bucky and opens the box
I walk over to Bucky's side and see that it's a new metal arm
"Where's the fight?" Bucky asked
"On its way"
Bucky and I look at each other and share a nervous look
I guess our vacation is over.
