Violets POV
I opened my eyes and realized what just happened
"What the hell" I groaned as I started to sit up
I look around and see a few familiar faces
"Violet?" I heard someone say behind me
I turned around to see spider boy standing next to a dude in a cloak
"What's going on? Last thing I remember I was turning into dust" I say walking towards them
"We got snapped by Thanos. We are in the quantum realm." The strange guy said
"What does that mean? Where's Steve?"
"Don't make him explain again" I turn to the voice and see Wanda
I immediately hug her
"Are you okay?"
"He took everything from me, from all of us. We need to kill him" she said with a look in her eyes that I've never seen before
"We will. We just need to get back." I said turning back to the dude in the cloak
"Can you get us out of here? Mr?"
"Call me doctor strange. Yes. But not yet."
"The fuck do you mean not yet? I don't know if you've noticed but everyone here is probably presumed dead by now. No one knows we are still alive we have to go back"
"And when the time is right we will."
"Have you ever lost anyone? Do you know what that kind of pain can do to someone?!" I yelled
"By someone you mean Bucky right?" Peter said looking at me with sorry eyes
"I don't just mean him. I mean everyone we left."
"Don't worry Violet, Steve will make sure Bucky doesn't fall off the wagon"
"Peter I'm not worried about Bucky falling off the wagon. I'm worried that he's going to feel alone and abandoned all over again. He's not completely stable yet" I said with tears in my eyes
Peter came up to me and hugged me
"It'll be okay"

Buckys POV
"Hey Nat anything new?" I asked Natasha as I walked into the tower
"No nothing." She said looking down with tears in her eyes
"Hey, we will get them back. They aren't gone forever."
"You seem very confident considering it's been 5 years and we still have nothing"
I sat down across from her
"When we were little Violet always used to say 'Hope is the one thing that can get us through our darkest times. Even though it hurts in the end it's always worth it.' I've been thinking about that a lot recently. At the beginning all I felt was anger and sadness, I wanted to kill Thanos for taking the one person who I've ever truly loved. Then I remembered what she used to say and realized that she wasn't gone, not for good at least. She can't be, because if she is I don't know what I'm gonna do. I have to hold on"
"What happens if she does come back?"
"I'll never let her go again. I'll cherish every moment with her." I put my hand in my pocket and hold the small box in my hand
"Any updates?" Steve said walking into the room
He looked at Nat and she looked down
"What's that Buck?" Steve asked as he sat down
"What?"
He pointed to the outline in my pocket
"Nothing."
"Doesn't look like nothing. Buck is that what I think it is?"
I grabbed the small box from inside my pocket and held it out
"Buck..." Steve started with a disappointed look
"Don't Steve. I don't want to hear another lecture about how I should move on. She's not dead."
"She's not coming back either Buck you have to face that eventually"
"Are you serious Steve? You're her fucking brother for crying out loud! You should be here with us trying to help!"
"Where has that got you? You guys have been sitting here for 5 years waiting, putting your lives on hold when it's obvious they aren't coming back. It's about time you realize that."
"They will come back Steve. You just need hope." I say putting the box back in my pocket
"I had hope for the first 2 years Buck. Nothing happened. Sometimes hope isn't an option. You need realize when to give up"
"I can't believe you would say that to me. Hope is the only thing that has kept me going Steve, and now your saying we have to give up? You aren't the same Steve as before. The old Steve never gave up. Even when you were getting the shit kicked out of you. I'm not giving up, I can't." I say getting up and leaving

Natashas POV
"Are you happy?" I ask Steve
"Nat.." he starts but is interrupted by the security camera beeping
We look up to see someone at the front gate. Scott Lang.
"Is this old?"
"That's the front gate" I say as I press the open gate button
We look at eachother in disbelief

"What?!" I yell at Dr Strange as he finishes talking
"Calm down Violet" Sam says next to me
"Calm down? It's been 5 years!"
"We need to get back now, no time for arguing" dr strange says as he starts to do some weird hand thing
"Are you ready?" Sam asks me
