Update: Chapters edited, continuing on with new chapters.

Okay, please read ALL the way to the end! Thank you.

I have been doing some serious checking on my timeline lately and have realized that I've messed up.
There are people where they shouldn't be, locations that are suspect, but might be tweak-able, and entire events that need a full rewrite....

So I want to pose a question to my readers.

Should I leave things as they are, and try my best to make them work....somehow....

Or should I go back and edit the previous chapters and their contents to bring the story closer to/inline with the official MCU timeline? Which would allow me to continue with my original intent for this story and it's arc?

For your consideration, before you choose, I DO believe that I can do so without altering a giant chunk of the story, its plot points, or main content too drastically. Most of the issues stem from locations, side characters being where they shouldn't, etc.... So nothing too major with the earlier changes needing to be made. The main one would be Fury, but he could still be present, just not as the head of Shield....he still would/could be privy to the info he presents, and therefore is still able to be utilized....the main difference would be in how he presents it and how he explains how he knows said info. The new way I think might even work better for my plot purposes in the long run. lol.

Also, it would become a more precise timeline leading to an AU that begins around Captain America: Civil War and flows on up into Spider-Man: Homecoming or maybe even the two movies Doctor Strange and Black Panther...but it avoids Ragnarok. Meaning Odin is still alive and on Asgard, and Hella is still locked away during the events in the MCU from that point on. But the rest of the MCU timeline going ahead is still up for grabs, if you get my drift....

I was always planning something along these lines to start with, and having a trickle down change to the timeline due to it, but i messed up a tad and it might effect the story in a negative way unless I correct it.

So please, take all of this into account and then let me know your thoughts as soon as possible. It could drastically impact the flow of the story going forward from here. So....yeah.....lol.

Edit:

I have decided to edit the earlier chapters at the very least. I want them to be more inline with the MCU timeline and then change into an AU later on, like a "pebble into the pond" causing ripples. It also gives me a chance to edit in story elements that I had been struggling to include previously. A recent comment reminded me that I had not updated this Note to let you guys know about my choice. My apologies. If anyone still wishes to comment and share their opinion, even if it differs, please feel free. It is still valuable feedback, and I will never be upset or angry at the response.

Thank you to the reader who did share. It actually helped me by getting me to clarify my reasons for changing them, both to you and myself. I am even more sure of my choice than before, so thank you for that.
