HANAKO'S POV:

Days,that's how long it's been since I've interacted with Y/N or Yashiro...or anyone for that matter. After seeing Tsukasa again,I've been scared and anxiety driven. I just have this feeling that he's always watching me. I mean can you blame me? I killed him! My own brother! This is guilt. This is what this is. "Well why not?" Tsuchigomori asks as I stayed quiet from where I was hidden. "WHAT?! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!" Yashiro's voice echoed through classroom"I CAME HERE TO GET YOU TO STOP ME!" She continued"the princess treatment,no experience required,no academic background or qualifications needed-sounds great to me." Tsuchigomori admits"THAT'S THE PROBLEM! IT DOES SOUND GOOD!" Yashiro was met(once again) with the mermaids servants to ask her to be their princess. "Pain in the-*sigh*have you talked to honorable number seven and Minamoto?"

"No,I haven't. It would be awkward to ask Kou after I ruined the donuts we made. As for Hanako-kun...I haven't been able to find him lately." Yashiro sadly states"then how about Y/N? She hangs out with you three,yes?" Yashiro doesn't answer which leads me to believe that she nodded"yea but we're not good friends and I don't even know where I'd find her...sensei,you've known Hanako-kun for a long time,right?! Can you tell me about his past?" She demands making me bite my tongue,I wanted to say something but I held it back. "You're...going to have to ask him. At the very least,honorable number seven isn't ready to let you know yet. That's why he hasn't said anything."

"But why won't he tell me?" She asks,her voice getting quiet. "Is it cuz he doesn't trust me?" Tsuchigomori then busts out into laughter"IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE IF YOU KNEW,YOU'D STOP BABYING HIM!" His laughter dies down"either that or he's afraid of you finding out. You could always ask Y/N,but there's no guarantee you'll get an answer." Tsuchigomori then stands up"at any rate,go ahead and make your own decision. Just make sure you make the right one." Yashiro lets out sigh before turning and walking out of the room. "So,what're you gonna do-"the curtain is then pulled back"honorable number seven?"

I stepped away from Tsuchigomori"I'm not sure..."I tell him"have you talked to Y/N? What's her advice on the situation?" I shook my head"I haven't talked to her since I saw him again." Tsuchigomori nods"why don't you consult her? I mean,she's usually right about a lot of stuff." I nod and wave goodbye to Tsuchigomori as I go to find Y/N.

I found her on the school rooftop,her arms were on the railing as she watched the ground below her. "Y/N!" I called out to her making her turn her head,her solemn expression turns into one of happiness when she sees me. "Amane!" She exclaims"I missed you!" She wraps her arms around me"are you feeling any better?" She pulls away"I...uh..."my cheeks were burning a little from our closeness. "W-Well,Tsuchigomori said to ask your opinion on...something. So that's why I'm here." She nods with a smile"I see,then go ahead!" I nod and look to the ground,suddenly finding my shoes more interesting. "It's about Yashiro-well no I guess myself...uh...you see after the event that happened recently it seems that Yashiro wants to know about my past...s-so what should I do?" I ask looking up at the girl"well,I think what you should do is tell her. I mean,I told you a little about my past and it only made us closer." She explains"I don't think telling her your past,or even a little,will hurt your relationship. In fact,it'll probably make it stronger."

Y/N then suddenly stops talking"do you have a bad feeling?" She asks me as I shake my head"no,why?" She looks back over to the railing"oh no...hey Amane,you might wanna go save Yashiro." I walk over to see a pool of water in a hole,that hole hasn't always been there. "Alright. You'll be watching,right?" She nods"yep." I nod and teleport down to the ground and go over to the gardens supply closet and pull out a fishing net. I walk over to the hole"don't." I warn as I scoop up fish Yashiro and throw her into the air. She makes a loud pitch scream as I toss the equipment away. "Your world may be kind to her,and this one may be cruel but it doesn't matter." Fish Yashiro fell into my hand and then transformed back into her human self"because Yashiro likes me."

"H-Hanako-kun..."

I looked down to her and smiled as I set her down onto the grass. "School mystery! Let our lady go!" I bent down towards them"come on,we can't be having this type of behavior. Didn't your master teach you to not take things that don't belong to you?" I then pulled out my knife"if you get to full of yourselves-"I then smiled"I'll turn you into sashimi,got it?" They screamed in terror and said they'd never give up before disappearing. I placed my knife away and stood up,I looked up to see Y/N watching us. She gave me a smile and thumbs almost to say 'you got this'.

"H-Hanako-kun...I wasn't going to really go with them..."Yashiro starts as I look to her"but you thought a harem would be nice though,didn't you?" I growled as she apologizes"I was just joking." I say placing my arms behind my back"I'm the one who's sorry." She gives me a confused look as I began to shift uncomfortably"you made those donuts and I...ruined them." I look to the ground before looking to her"will you forgive me?" She smiles"of course!" I return the smile and place my hand on her cheek for a moment before walking past her"and thank you." I stopped bedside her,my hand on her head. "I forgot to say it before but you saying that you like me,makes me happy." I removed my hand and stuffed both of them into my pants pockets.

"You know I had a younger brother." I began to make my way towards the school building"but I killed him." I stopped and looked back to the girl"so Yashiro,do you really want to get to know me? If so then..."I looked forward once more"one day I'll tell you everything." I heard her footsteps behind me"but until then-"I turned around completely with a smile,I gave her my pinky finger"be my assistant until then,alright?" She looks down to her hand and back to me,we lock fingers. "Sure." She says with a soft smile as I looked up to Y/N who was clapping her hands together to congratulate me.
