HANAKO'S POV:

Kou introduced us to a new ghost that was haunting his schools entrance. He had pink hair that covered one eye and wore a oversized pink sweater,a scarf that was burnt at the ends and everyday clothing. "Yashiro,Y/N hurry up I'm bored." I complained as Yashiro rolled her eyes while Y/N set down their rag and looked to me. "Ya know,this would go by a lot quicker with your help." She hums"well it's not my job to clean the bathroom." "It's not yours either!" Y/N sighs"yea but Yashiro can't do all of this on her own,I'd feel bad." I cross my arms"don't you have your own boundary to take care of?" I remark"if you mean my tree,then no. The school takes care of it,so there's no need." Y/N then places her rag in the sink"actually do you guys wanna watch people fail to summon me? It's quite funny." My eyes widen"wait,people still try and summon you? But I thought people didn't know you existed." She nods"that's true they don't. But every once in a while someone will come by and summon me wrong."

"Who was the last person to successfully summon you?" Yashiro asks looking to the girl"let's see...well there was Megumi...and then there was Koto...and that's it." I went over to Y/N and placed my hands onto her upper arms"wait! There was more after me?!"

"Wait,Hanako-kun summoned you before?!" Yashiro exclaims. "Well of course there was A-Hanako. After you left,my 'life' continued on though it was not the same." Yashiro then spoke up"wait so...how old are you?" I felt slightly...jealous at the fact there was more after me. I shouldn't be though,I mean her answer wasn't to surprising yet...why am I upset? She hums"uh...probably over a hundred years old." Yashiro and I were taken back as I let go of Y/N's arms"what?! Are you joking?!" Yashiro and I yelled in unison"what? Why is that so surprising?"

"It's just...y-you look so young!" Yashiro exclaims"well yea,I looked like this when I died. Much like how Hanako looked like that when he died." Yashiro sets her mop into the bucket"can you tell us about your past Y/N? I don't know much about you now that I think about it." Her eyes widened for a moment before looking to me"and he hasn't talked about me? What a shock." She places a hand on her chest,where her heart would be"I'm wounded." She sulks as Yashiro lets out of soft giggle"cuz it's not my place to tell your story." I tell her as she smiles cheekily"just kidding! Sure Yashiro! I would love to." Y/N hops up onto the sink,straightening her uniform. "Well,I was born in the latter half of the 30's. My family used to live in America(looking back idk why I stated this in book 1...but to late to change it-)until my father died,then it was just me and my mom. My mom was offered a job here in Japan,and since we had no family this is where we headed. While I was attending school here,I was forced to learn Japanese. At the time I wasn't fluent but I was good enough for people to understand. They bullied me a lot for my broken Japanese as well as my weight."

Yashiro then spoke up"but I don't think you're overweight!" Y/N gives a soft smile"thank you Yashiro. I've come to accept my body for what it is. I regret the things I did to it." She says lowering her head so that the ring around her neck was not seen. "A-Anyway-"she stutters out changing the subject"I fell in love but he didn't love me. And so I did the only 'logical' thing and killed myself by hanging. That was when I became the 'first' school mystery...or rather the first one that was stated by students. Of course I'm not the oldest supernatural here,but I take pride in knowing I was the first to be known at this school." Her head was now high in the air with her arms crossed,a smirk on her face. "Along the way,Am-Hanako here summoned me and we met a lot of people. Though it all changed one day..."her voice trailed off as her head lowered again,her voice wavered a little. Almost like she wanted to cry.

"S-So,how about playing a around of cards?" I suggest trying to lighten the mood. "Wait so your saying that you were bullied into killing yourself?" Yashiro hums making the girl nod"how rude of those people! Someone as lovely and nice as you doesn't deserve that type of behavior!" Y/N lets out a laugh"you're to kind Yashiro." Yashiro grabs the other girls hands,lacing them in each other. "I think the idea of killing yourself over love is dumb and stupid! But I respect you in a way! Oh!" She lets go of Y/N's hands"it's like Romeo and Juliet! Forbidden love ending in suicide!"
