HANAKO'S POV:

Kou and I fell onto the hard floor which was in number three's boundary. "Is this it?!" Kou asks immediately sitting up"is she here?! Where is she?!" I sit up and rub my chin(sadly that's the part of me that got the most impact) and look around"relax kid,we're in the right place." Everything seemed normal for the most part,mirrors everywhere and Yashiro?! "Yashiro!" I called out to the daikon girl who was resting against a wall,I immediately stood up and ran over to her. I bent down to her level to see her chest moving as I let out a sigh of relief. "She's only sleeping." I said hugging her as I hear Kou call out to someone. "Are you...Mitsuba?" I turn to see Kou staring at a boy with pink hair who was crouching over something.

"You-how?" Kou flabbergasted"I mean I thought you were really gone...Mitsuba,you're ok!" Kou said through tears with a smile"you're not hurt or anything,are you?" He asks walking towards the boy,Kou grabs onto the boys arm. "Huh? Why does your hand look like that? What's wrong? What happen to you?"

That's when I noticed the bird skull behind 'Mitsuba'. My eyes widened as I realized who it belonged to,it was school mystery number three. "KID GET BACK!" I yelled as a giant black skeleton hand arose and tried to hit Kou,thankfully he was able to dodge it. "Woah! Where did that come from?" Kou stared at his friend"Mitsuba?" The boy placed two hands on his head and began to cry while muttering to himself. I ran over as I noticed the hand going for Kou,I took my knife and jumped in front of Kou. My knife clashed with the hand,I was now it's target.

"It's surprisingly fast." I hum while dodging it. As it got close to me I slashed my knife against it as it broke in half and crumbled towards the floor. I landed bedside Kou"are you ok kid?!" He nods"y-yea..."his blue eyes then widen"behind y-"

That's when a black skeleton hand wrapped around my body. "Huh?" Was all I was able to say before being slammed into the wall and was pinned down by the hand. "Hanako!" He tried to run towards me but was slammed into the floor.

"Mitsuba~. Did you finish eating?" My eyes widened as I noticed Tsukasa with a bright smile on his face as he came down from a swing. He seemed to be enjoying himself. Tsukasa jumped down and landed beside 'Mitsuba',as he did so the skeleton hands retracted and vanished. I landed on my feet as I stared at my brother in pure shock and horror. "Wha...what're you doing here Tsukasa?" He let out a soft hum before his eyes widening and his smile returning. "Long time no see!" He yells rushing towards me and tackling me in a tight hug. "C-Come on Tsukasa...please listen to-"

"Amane! Amane! Amane!"

Soon both of us were thrown into the wall behind us by the skeleton hand. My eyes narrowed as I readied my knife once more"here it comes again!"

"YOU'RE GETTING IN THE WAY!" 'Mitsuba' screams.

When I took a hit at the hand,Tsukasa appeared beside me. Another hand appeared and flew towards him,he easily dodged and grabbed the arm while it flailed around wanting to be released. Tsukasa walked over to the boy"Mitsuba~." He called out making the pink haired male look to him"what-? What are those? What's happening?" He worriedly asked as the hands disappeared.

"Now now." Tsukasa hummed petting the boys hair"these are things that will protect you Mitsuba. You need to calm down so you can keep them in control." He softly tells the boy.

I noticed Kou walking towards them which made me follow him. Tsukasa seemed to treat this boy like he was his younger brother. "Hey." Kou calls out to them"what'd you do to Mitsuba this time? Answer me!" Tsukasa looked to him"I granted his wish. The price was his mind,in other words-a part of his soul." He smirked"so when you last saw me,I removed apart of Mitsuba's soul-his mind. The rest is pretty simple." He then went on to explain how he 'made' Mitsuba. "The Sousuke Mitsuba who lived and died as human is no longer in this world anymore." He concluded.

"Why?" Kou growled"why would you do that? It's your fault Mitsuba is gone in the first place!" The boy hummed and placed a finger on his lower lip before answering: 'just because?'

"I always wanted to make one! An artificial human. Amane and I once saw one a looong time ago. There was a movie with an artificial human who attacked everyone! But he's a ghost so I guess he's an artificial ghost...I didn't expect it to be so weak though." He seemed slightly let down"but,I think it's pretty cool,r-"

Kou then placed his staff beside Tsukasa's head. His pale skin now had a big cut on his upper cheek. "You creep! You gotta be kidding me! MITSUBA ISN'T YOUR TOY!" His staff began to produce electricity,even if it was only a little. "So what you're saying is that I shouldn't had made this thing?"

That's when the two of them teleported away and got  into the air. "Don't worry Mitsuba,it's ok. I don't hate you." The boy let out a scream and flung to the brown haired boy"I'm gonna fall! I'm gonna fall!"

"So Mitsuba,you're just a baby with no power and no memories. But now you have number three's core inside you,so you have power now! What do you wanna do?" The brown haired boy hums"do you want them to take away your new power and disappear? Or do you wanna take school mystery number three's seat and become the ruler of this boundary? Tell me what you want Mitsuba~."

"I-I'll do it. I'm not ready to disappear. I don't want to disappear when I still have nothing. So if that's the only option then I'll do it! I'll become a school mystery! I'll do anything!" Tsukasa smirks at the boys request"very good. And if that's what you want then I'll grant your wish~."

The pink haired boys appearance then slightly changed. He now had a long black sweater over top his regular clothing,eyes were sewn into them and instead of his burnt scarf it was now a pink scarf with skeleton bones towards the ends. "From this moment forward,you are now school mystery number three."

"Woah! This is-this is so cool!" Mitsuba comments"this boundary belongs to you! So what kinda supernatural do you wanna be? You can be anything!"

"Anything?" The pink haired boy glanced towards us before looking back to Tsukasa. "I want to be normal. I wanna be a normal human,can I?" He smiled"yep,you can."

I then sent hakujoudai towards them as I pointed my knife at them once on the guard rail. "A creature who has come back to life on the far shore as a supernatural can not be allowed to live on the near shore as a human. That seat number is not yours and I'll be taking it back."
