HANAKO'S POV:

No.2 swung her scissors at Kou,obviously not caring about my existence. Kou looked over to me as Yako remembered my existence and glanced at me. She didn't say a word,though she immediately ran to me. I dodged her and held my knife toward the scissors,a metal on metal sound was heard making both of us jump back. "Hey,Hanako. Where's senpai?" Kou asks catching his breath"oh!" I jumped at Yako only for her to defend herself with the sharp blades. "I threw her off the cliff!" I exclaim making Kou yell out in anger. "HANAKO YOU BASTARD! SHE COULD DIE!" That's when Kou's other arm turned into a dolls making his staff clash into the water. "Oh my,it seems that you're now defenseless." She purrs towards Kou who narrowed his eyes. "Hanako,we have to beat her soon!" I looked to him"I'm aware!" I knew she was going after Kou,I mean he was the easiest target due to how defenseless he was. In a matter of seconds he was turned into a doll,my eyes widened as his plush body collided with the water. "Dang..."I whisper under my breath as I looked to Yako. "You know Yako,none of this would be happening if you stayed in your-"I ran towards her and held my knife towards her"place!" I yell as the two weapons collided.

"You know nothing No.7! You might be the 'leader' of us all,but we don't need to necessarily listen to you." She growls as she runs to me,her scissors graze my cheek which leaves a mark. "So then why are you doing this?!" She hits me once more sending me into the water"because I need him! Y-You...you don't know what it's like to lose somebody!"

There's no way to get her to stop,she's to powerful. I hope Yashiro finds her yorishiro soon. This entire thing depends on her! She hit me with the scissors which made me lose my death grip on my knife,her body became blurry as she dropped her scissors. "And stay down!" I shut my eyes and hear her sigh"now to go find that girl." Next thing I heard was her footsteps in the water.

Once I knew she was gone I sat up,the water was cold against my body. Like I had a body though. "Geez,she's really mad right now." I grabbed my knife and stood up,placing it into my pocket before walking over to the plush of Kou. His bright and lively blue eyes were now dead. "Creepy." I say to myself as I pick him up"alright,now let's get-oh wait his staff." I look around and sigh"did it become small as well?" I internally groan and look to the plush"you don't need it right? I mean,you can't use it anyway...no that's mean. It's his after all." I placed the plush in my pocket and quickly searched around for the staff. It was off to the side,like somebody threw it away. I picked it up and placed it away before I ran over to the waterfall. I looked down to see a void. "She's not dead,right? I mean,I don't know for sure if there's a end to this place." I shook my head and took a deep breath before shutting my eyes and jumping.

I felt a rush of adrenaline course through my body. I landed at the bottom with a sigh of relief. Good,she's not dead! Unless...it did kill her. I noticed a rope near where I landed"she's alive!" I internally sighed once more and rushed to where I heard Yako's screams.

"HANAKO-KUN! HELP ME!"

I sent my hakujoudai after Yako due to how far I was. It seemed to be effective as I heard a clink sound,I smiled softly knowing Yako was now defenseless. "You're..."

"Thanks,nice work." I say approaching the two females. "No.7? How did you find us?!" Yako demands"it wasn't hard. I just followed the screams. Plus,I sent this little one to follow her." I say gesturing to the ghost orb that circled around me. "Hanako-kun!" Yashiro exclaims rushing towards me. "Hey..."I then winced and fell to the ground as Yashiro gave a concerned look. "Are you ok?!" I gave a weak smile"I think I'm dying..." "WHAT?!"

Yako laughed"my goodness,how fragile you are! Did our little game upstairs take that much out of you?" Yashiro placed a hand on my back while I placed one around her shoulder,she helped me up as I wiped my cheek. "Fighting no.2 in her territory is a little...ok it's really tough." Yashiro looks to me"what can I do?" I pull her close to me and whisper to her. "Listen,if we can destroy her yorishiro we'll be able to do whatever we please. Did you find anything? It's probably going to be something that means a lot to her. It'll have a seal on it. I'll keep her busy while-"

"Sorry but-"she held the scissors at us"your chat is now over." I quickly teleported and wrapped the rope around her body. "N-No.7! Don't try and stop me!" She says through her gritted teeth,slightly struggling. "No can do! Go,now!" I yell to the teen as Yako demands her to stop. "I won't let you!" She yells sending her dolls after her"I need my yorishiro! I can't make Misaki otherwise! All this time,everything had been for his sake!"

"YOU'RE NOT DOING THIS FOR MISAKI,YOU'RE DOING IT FOR YOURSELF!" Yashiro screams as she jumps over the dolls and rushes towards the small shrine. She tears open the doors and grabs the small pair of scissors. "PLEASE DON'T!" Begs Yako as she frees herself from the restraints. She runs to Yashiro with her scissors,my eyes narrow as I teleport. At the same time,her yorishiro was destroyed allowing me to summon hakujoudai.

Glass shards released in the air as I stepped in front of Yashiro,my knife pointed at Yako. "Mystery No.2,the Misaki Stairs. You've abandoned your responsibilities!" I plunge my knife into her chest"you are to return to your seat!"

My eyes fluttered open to see dark colored school,oh yes after hours. A quiet time at school,a time where I would spend hours in my quiet bathroom sad and lonely. I sat up and looked beside me to see Yashiro asleep beside me. A soft smile came to my face as I looked around for Kou before realizing that he was still in my pocket. "Yashiro?" I hummed looking down at the girl"Yashiro...hey,Yashiro." My eyes narrowed slightly as I began to tap her on the shoulder. "Hey,wake up. Hello?" Nothing. "Yashiro!" I began to shake her,yet nothing. Geez how deep into sleep is she? I leaned closer to her"hey Yashiro. Yaaashiroooo!" Her eyes softly opened"H-Hanako-kun..."

"Hi!" I wave to her as I pull away"are we back? Ah!" Yashiro sat up quickly and began to look around"where is Kou?!" I stand up and pull out the plush"right here." She takes hold of him"Kou!" I wipe fake tears"he fought so bravely." Yashiro smiled"he's cuter now. He'll change back right?" She looks to me"what about Aoi and the others?" I nod"of course." I walked over to Yako and picked her up by the back of her neck"they'll change back. She'll make sure of it." Yashiro gave a confused look"this is the Misaki stairs true identity."

"A fox?"

"An Inari statues true identity,but this one moves. Go on No.2,say you're sorry." She turns her head as I pull out my knife and put on a sadistic smile"I'll turn you into fox udon."

"Wait! What'll happen to all those who were turned into dolls? Aoi and Kou..."Yashiro asks as I drop Yako onto the floor. "They'll turn back to normal by morning. It's not like I have much power left anyway." Her ears drop as Yashiro gives a sympathetic look before showing her the picture of her class. "J-Just so you know,I haven't forgiven you yet! That was really scary,I thought I was going to die! But..."she bends down"I also destroyed something important to you. So,I'm sorry." She reached her pale hand out to her only for Yako to bite her,hard. She screamed and pulled her hand back to cradle it.

"Don't touch me! I have no intention of being friends with you!" She hops up the stairs a little ways"and my name is Yako! Next time you call me fox,I'll bite your hand off!" She growls"maybe we should've turn her into fox udon." Yashiro growls as Yako disappears from our sight.

Yashiro sighed and leaned against the wall. "Yashiro?" I ask"I guess due to all the excitement that happened,my energy is gone." I smile softly"oh then hold on a second." I walk over to her and place my left arm above her head as I lean in. I placed a soft kiss on her cheek"your reward." I pull away and smirk"is a magic spell to make you feel better." Her once pale cheeks turn into a rosy mess. She screams and pushes me away as I let out a soft laugh. "Y-You c-cant just do that!" I place my hands in my pockets"you better hurry home Yashiro. It's night time." She nods and waves me goodbye before running off.

My smile fades as I glance down to the floor. "If only that was Y/N..."
