Blake's POV
"Josh, I get it, you're tired but training needs to be more pushed on you. You're just not hitting the numbers that I need you to." I rubbed the bridge of my nose.
"I don't want to do this anymore. I just want to be in the kitchen cooking with mom." He pouted.
"I'm sorry, but thats not going to cut it around here. You're a dominant male, you need to be able to protect the omegas." I tried to explain to him.
He just sat on the ground with his arms crossed.
"Now, get up and run the track. You need to make 3 miles in at least 8 minutes." I pointed and he finally gave in and ran to the start of the track.
"Blake, can I speak with you for a second?" I heard Adam come up from the side of me.
"What is it? Is everything going alright?" I asked.
"Yes, as much as they can be. Although there was a subject that I believe needs to be discussed." He crossed his arms.
"Well, go ahead. Speak." I mocked his stance.
"I don't want to step over another territory but I think your pack members need to be upped in training. They're not hitting the correct numbers that line up with DNH." He expressed his concern.
"Your trainings are harsh. I don't think my members would hit that number so soon." I shrugged.
"I think they could, if we used some of our shipments that we get over from Alaska. Only thing is, its only made for DNH rogue members only." He coughed.
"Get to the point." I started to get irritated about him beating around the bush.
"Okay, point is. The numbers aren't aligning and to move everyone over would be a huge kill on our rep. Not only that, our defense would be terrible. I mean, with being underground about DNH still being around, it's been slow. Once Mia is back and more packs find out about us, especially in the supernatural world, were going to have many threats over the pack. People trespassing, trying to come in and take over territory, etc. Right now, our numbers are low and Clyde is at the point where we're having trouble keeping things in order. We need to start the process of getting everyone switched over so we can start the ceremony for you and Mia to take over the pack. The rogues need order." Adam explained.
"I see your concern, and as much as I want to move Mia and I over to Alpha's of DNH, we need to work on trainings and getting things in line for when e do step in. With that, I need help getting our members to step up their game in the trainings so we can work on getting numbers up. I need to make sure everything is in order before I subject Mia to that kind of stress. She's been through enough, I just want to make sure that shes okay with everything." I held my head in my hand.
"If you let me, I'll get the ceremony set up and I will start using the serums on the pack members before you both are completely signed in. I can also take over in the training process until you and Mia are Alphas. This is something that needs to be done sooner rather than later, and I need you both to take over before the rogues get completely out of our control." He spoke sternly.
I let out a big sigh,
"I know, I know. It honestly just feels like so much has been going on within the past year. With dealing with Jackson, my dad being terminally ill, and now adding another pack that is huge within the history of us Lycans, its just a lot to process. Sometimes I feel like is this really my calling?"
"I get it. I really do, its not my place to say but Victor and I had to grow up very fast. We had the same thoughts as you, but we both knew that this was something that we needed to do. The rogues needed a place to call a home but also keep their dependency. We started out very small, smaller than we are right now without a real Alpha in place. It takes a lot of work to run a pack, and not every wolf is cut out to do it. That's why we have dominant wolves like you, to be able to make everything possible and to keep order within the Lycan breed. I know this is your calling Blake, you're going to do great things. I know for a fact that with Mia and you leading this pack, it could become something more greater than when Victor and Bella was in control." Adam flashed a smile at me.
"Thank you, Adam. I think those were the words I needed to hear." I smiled back at him.
"Talk to Mia about what I spoke to you about. I'll start getting the process ready and when you both have come to terms, we'll hold the ceremony. I'll have Clyde get the shipment ready by giving some calls to the high-order in Alaska. You start taking care of business with what you need. I'll worry about the trainings for now. I'm going to combined the trainings and get a schedule made up." Adam reached his hand out to shake mine.
I grabbed his hand and shook it back, not removing the eye-contact. I nodded my head at him and took off to the packhouse.

Mia's POVI was standing out in the field, looking at the DNH members running in order around the huge land we have outback.
"Pick up the pace!!! It's not that hard to do! All of you are meant to do this without an ease!" I yelled out irritated.
"It's amazing how much more they listen to you." Clyde said behind me.
"I'm mad at you." I crossed my arms.
"What did I do." He looked confused.
"You should have been training them better than this! They're all lazy." I fought.
"Why do you think we needed you so bad?" He argued.
"This is all going to take some time getting used to." I rubbed my head.
"It definitely will." He giggled.
I turned to look at the pack members and they were slowing down.
"Alright! All of you need to shift and start doing laps in wolf form! I will be coming around to strap weights to all of you! And I don't want to hear any complaining!" I said frustrated.
"Did you need something, Clyde?" I turned back to him.
"What? I cant just come see my older sister?" He shrugged.
"Aren't you suppose to be training with the other pack members?" I looked into his eyes with a stern look.
"....would you look at the time?" Clyde hesitated before taking off as fast as he could.
I let out a laugh and watched him run over to the other pack mates.
"JASON SO HELP ME GOD! GET UP AND START RUNNING YOU TWATWAFFLE! IF YOU DONT MOVE YOUR ASS I'M GOING TO COME ACROSS THIS FIELD AND THROTTLE YOU IN THE THROAT!" I screamed!
